I tried to send an email to my daughter this morning, but it was returned undelivered for the following reason ; This message was created automatically by mail delivery software. A message that you sent could not be delivered to one or more of its recipients. This is a permanent error. The following address(es) failed: Too many 'Received' headers - suspected mail loop It seems it tried to send this email over and over again. Does any one know what caused this? and how I can avoid it in the future? David

Could it be her mail box is full and needs emptying

I don't think so Valarie, That usually say their mail box is full. In this case it returned at leat 50 Address headers. Although I only sent 6 words it said : ------ This is a copy of the message, including all the headers. ------ ------ The body of the message is 269010 characters long; only the first ------ 24576 or so are included here. For some reason it seemed to get into a loop.

Hi david, normally mail is returned when the address is wrong or it has changed or another possibility is that there could be a connection fault either at her end or urs .
