I went to Kew to read some nationalization papers. They made very interesting reading. They are the papers completed by the person requesting to be nationalized. Gave lots of information about him and where he came from. Other people had to vouch for him and gave information about him. Sad thing was for me it was not my ancestor. Similar name but not him. Tracey, These are at the Public Record Office in Kew. It's quite a complicated process for finding them however I believe in some cases you can actually see/copy the original application forms too! Regs Jane |
