No help, I'm afraid - but just for our reference - you added to someone else's thread in 2015:

"i know its has been a while since i have been on but going back to marion harvey does anybody remember a shop on the corner of peelhouse lane and belvoir road named r davies wholesale and retail confectioner marion worked there in the 1920s it now called essential hair and beauty wholesaler . . ."

"I would like to hear from any members who can remember this shop and the staff who worked there especially a youg girl called Marion who was aroud 19 yearsold and also people named Harvey who also had something to do with the shop it was situated on the corner of Peelhouse Lane and Belvoir Road in Widnes any help will do even if only to point me in the right direction for research. . ."

Unfortunately , nobody has been able to give you any information.

Researching:
Old genealogists never die.....they just lose their census.

Suggest you contact the Chamber of Trade in Widnes.

I assume you’ve checked the 1921 census…………places of employment are recorded
