Jane was my daughter's aunt (from my first marriage). As far as we know she lived with her parents all her life.
They retired from Edinburgh to Saxilby in Lincolnshire and we think Jane went with them.
Because of the recent death of her brother, my ex-husband, we have been told that Jane has passed away.
I can't find any record which could be her. There is a Jane Roberts of about the correct age who is registered as having passed away in Wakefield. I don't understand why she would be in Wakefield.
Her parents were Percy and Jeanette Roberts.
Any help would be welcome. Thank you all

EDIT: Ah, I see - July/Aug/Sept quarter of 1936, in Fylde RD.
No middle initial.

When did her parents die? Percy 1980 and Jeanette 1985, in Lincoln reg district?

After they died she could have moved anywhere - just as Percy and Jeanette moved from Blackpool to Edinburgh to Lincolnshire.

Just a thought

Maybe someone who was in touch with your ex could elaborate on when and where she passed

PMs from Lynne indicate that she was not in touch with her ex-husband for very many years, and would have no idea about his contacts.

The information that Jane has died came from a NOK tracing organisation who traced Lynne's daughter after her father's death.

Because of childhood illness, Jane needed support with everyday matters, so is possibly unlikely to have had a job, or to have died abroad, or even left the Lincoln area.

I've suggested that perhaps Jane's death has happened in the last couple of years, and so is not showing online yet.

Lynne thinks she will contact the Lincolnshire registration authorities, and I agree.

Also the tracing organisation might be able to give more information
