1901 England, Wales & Scotland Census

Alexandra House, 81, Blendon Row, Newington, St Saviour Southwark, London & Surrey, England

James Golsby Head Married Male 54 1847 Irons Moulder Rochester, Kent, England
Kate Golsby Wife Married Female 44 1857 - Walworth, Surrey, England
Kate Golsby Daughter Single Female 21 1880 - Walworth, Surrey, England
James Golsby Son Single Male 19 1882 Carman (Grain) Walworth, Surrey, England
Albert Golsby Son Single Male 17 1884 Carman (Grain) Walworth, Surrey, England
Millie Golsby Daughter - Female 14 1887 - Walworth, Surrey, England
Harry Golsby Son - Male 11 1890 - Walworth, Surrey, England

EDIT Millie is recorded as son then crossed out and dau lightly put in. The age has been moved from male to female. Could this be a mistake and the child is Willie?

This is the ONLY birth for the surname and first name in the right year

GOLSBY, WILLIAM JAMES (MMN) DAY
GRO Reference: 1888 D Quarter in GREENWICH Volume 01D Page 996

If his father was James, the second name makes sense

EDITED

NOT that one =- his father was William

Hi, I am looking for a William John golsby born 4th nov 1888 (1939 war census ) Carshalton surrey. On his marriage cert it says his father is James.

With his parents names I am hoping I will then be able to find them on the free 1881 census.

Thankyou,
Anne
