I wondered if anyone can help with any marriages and deaths of the above.
They were both born in Preston Lancashire. George Henry in 1917 and Benjamin Leslie in 1923. Their parents were Benjamin Nightingale and Mary Louise nee Woodcock who married in Preston 1917. There is a George Henry who died 1951 in Adlington, Lancashire but he was 78 so was born about 1873.
Any help would be appreciated.

I’ve tried Lancashire freebmd. They aren’t a family that wandered far and I did wonder if they could have been killed in the 2nd world war.

Robert Stanley who was born in April, 1919 died in 1973.
No wonder I couldn’t find George. I didn’t realise he’d travelled so far.
Many thanks.

Sorry 1823 was a slip of the finger so I’ve now corrected it.
Death for Benjamin Leslie is a possibility but I think I need to get a copy of the death certificate to be sure.
Again many thanks for all your help.

Don’t assume people stay in their birthplaces

Use freebmd, which covers all of England & Wales
