Our photography meetings are all indoors in a Methodist church hall. Not always that warm but it was fine today as it was 17 degrees with a lot of sun today.

That is a nuisance. We’re you using a different card?

i know how you feel Mel. It's so frustrating when you have a query and all you get when you phone is a d..n machine

I hope you had an enjoyable photography group AnnG. Were you indoors or outside taking photos? If you were outside I hope the weather was kind to you.

It rained most of the morning here. It has stopped now but is still very grey and cloudy. It's 14 degrees but it doesn't feel that warm. I did eventually stop shivering last night.

I slept a bit better as well so had a bit more energy this morning. I gave the upstairs en-suite and the bathroom a thorough clean and then washed their floors. We usually use a steam cleaner for all the tiling downstairs but as I had a big bowl of hot water with Flash and a mop I decided to do the kitchen area downstairs as that's the bit that always seems to get dirtiest. I should really have done the whole of the tiled area but it takes quite a while and time was getting on.

OH had a senior moment today. We both tend to get up around 7.30, OH usually a few minutes before me. This morning he woke suddenly thinking I had called out for him, realised he had been dreaming, glanced at the clock and saw it said 8.05. So he got up, went round downstairs opening blinds etc, went to the loo and got dressed. Then he got his juice and muesli ready. That's when he noticed the kitchen clock. It said 6.15! He'd misread the bedroom clock and was up much too early. He had his breakfast anyway and sat reading till I got up. It's very quiet at the moment so he is probably doing his eyes good again..

I need to have a think about something to eat tonight. Although Sainsbury's didn't bring me any eggs, I had a few and managed to get some more in the Co-op so I'll probably do something with eggs. I've got some leftover bits of veg so maybe some sort of Spanish omelette, with something like a salad.

I have realised why I can't do it so shall have to go to the post van on Monday.

The suns out here and now 13 degrees and pc says cloudy.

I have tried three times to tax my car on the phone and three times they have come up with call ended. I tried online and they would'nt accept my card. Why o why can you not speak to someone a proper person.

Washed two coats this morning and filled up all the bird feeders and tidied the desk and washed up and now I am going to have something to eat but I don't know what I want...........I am hungry so I think it may be toast.

Its dull again this morning but not as cold but its only 10 degrees and pc says cloudy.

Vera I hope you have warmed up a bit now. I have been cold over the last few days and have had the heating onfor a while in the evenings.

Mandy six rabbits! It sounds like you have a population explosion at yours too. I have bunnys running all over my garden and a neighbour I met in the library yesterday says he is having trouble with them on hius large veg patch.

Nothing planned for me today but I have someone coming on Monday to look at the lathe. Its a neighbour I know and the wife of the builder who did my porch roof years ago. He is also going to have a look at my chicken fencing as it has rotted away on the bottom so things could get in to them. I have a small roll of new wire and a large roll of old wire so I am hoping he can sort things out for me.

Bit warmer here today but very misty and drizzly out, I have to nip to boots as the doctor has now changed our blood pressure tablets again both of us going on a higher dose ,I also need some bits from wilko too.

Hope your feeling warmer today Vera ,some days you just can't seem to get warm .
Those smaller plates are a good idea not everyone can eat a big meal and child portions don't have much of a selection.

I'm still knitting the rabbits ,I'll have to send a photo when I finish the next one ,think this one will be number six .

Good morning all already 12 degrees here although a bit misty. Definitely warmer than it has been, hope that continues.

Vera hope you eventually warmed up. glad you enjoyed your lunch. lots of places seem to be offering small plate menues which is a good idea as it does save waste.

I can’t stop shivering tonight although the temperature is about 9 degrees outside and it’s much warmer inside with the heating. There hasn’t been any sun today and it started raining about 4 pm and is still raining now so that makes it feel cold.

You’re doing well on eBay Mel. Your stuff certainly seems to be selling.

I am still managing to read AnnG though I often find I get on better if I take my glasses off and really peer at the kindle or book, but that doesn’t help my head. I am sure new glasses would help but I need to see the consultant first. My next appointment is in 6 weeks time.

We had a nice lunch today. 7 of us just went to a pub at Long Melford that has a normal menu but also does a cheaper, smaller plates, meal. It was plenty for us lady pensioners. Then we went back to the birthday girl’s house for tea and cake. I got home just after 5 pm to find OH asleep in the chair with a book on his lap.

I slept better last night but kept half waking and thinking that the bed was in a different position in the room. I was completely disoriented. It’s a good job I didn’t need to get up for the loo. I would probably have walked into the wardrobe or bashed my head on the sloping ceiling.

I wonder how Gill’s doing. I hope she and OH are both OK. Perhaps she’s just busy with the house and garden or maybe she's got computer problems.

Just got something else on Ebay and went to revise the listing and could'nt because it had had a bid already!!!!

Did the library and theres more talk of closing it to save money.

They have resurfaced our road and p[ut all chippings on it and it did'nt really need doing because it was done not so long ago. There are much more pot holes and lumps of road surface missing past the crossraods than ourr way.

Had some lunch and now Angela from next door but one is coming down at 2pm for half a dozen eggs.

Good morning all sort of hslf bright and 8 degrees here at the moment. I had a strange night slept well for just over three hours, then lay awake for ages, then slept until 0815.

Vera hope your bad head has eased and you are able to enjoy your lunch today. sorry to hear that you are having trouble with your eyes, that must be worrying and frustrating and probably means that you are unable to enjoy reading..

Mel don't get involved doing something and forget the library.

Still not hear from Gill. Hope that is just because she is busy.

Dull and dreay today pc says cloudy and 10 degrees but theres no wind at the moment which is good.

I have the library today if I remember in time and thats about it apart from my daily challenges.

It's been a mostly grey day with a chilly old wind.

I haven't slept very well for a couple of nights and we've had a couple of busy days so I am feeling very headachey. It's not helped by my eye problems as my sight isn't good right now. I've decided that for safety's sake I shouldn't drive till I've seen the doctor again in June. I am sure I couldn't read a number plate at 20 metres at the moment but I am hoping the doctor will say I can get now get new glasses sorted. Poor OH is having to drive me everywhere at the moment.

Yesterday our neighbour rang early in the morning to say her husband was being discharged from hospital and could we possibly take her in to get him and bring them back home. He just had to wait for his tablets from the hospital pharmacy. We're happy to help but we were just waiting around for a chunk of the day till he got the tablets several hours later and then we had a 40 mile round trip to get him.

Today I had a chiropody appointment and then had to go into town to pick up my tablets that weren't there last week and also pick up some medication for the neighbour, so I had to rely on my trusty chauffeur again to negotiate all the blocked off roads and roadworks. Bless him, he just puts up with it.

Tomorrow I am going to a friend's birthday lunch but luckily one of the other ladies that's going will give me a lift so OH can have the day off.

I'd better go and cook him something nice for his dinner now as a way of saying thank you. I might even pour him a glass of his favourite wine :-).

Suns been in and out here and I have fed the wildies chicken fish and cleaned out both pond filters. Nearlly had a fit when I turned the big pond pump back on three times and it did'nt go but I opened the window and gave the pump a jerk and it started so all running smoothly again now and I have the big pond filling up from the well.

Good morning all semi bright sky at the moment, some blue patches and 7 degrees. I slept well last night and finally woke at 0740. My bedding in the machine with spare bedding waiting for next wash. Just going to have a shower and wash my hair now.

Quite bright this morning but the sky is cloudy and pc says 6 degrees and mostly cloudy so that means its going to be miserable all day and probably rain too. I just wish that cold wind would go and blow itself away.

NOthing planned will see how I get on later. Still not heard when the oil is comimg.

Goit all the washing dry today and its all put away in the uti room now.

Its been a lovely sunny day but we've had that blasted very cold wind that gets right in your bones.

Stuart rang and said my tyre was ready so I corned the chickens and went down to his garage and he put it on for me as it was a match to the one the other side. I thought it was as I had those two tyres together.

I have been watching Springtime on the Farm. The baby goats and sheep are adorable and I think this is the last episode now so I want to see Pip's puppies.

Just turned the heating on as it has gotten quite cold in here.

At least you got out in the gaden for a abit Anng I did'nt venture out there today just to feed the chickens and fish and the Robins and wild birds. They are getting through food like anything.

It has been beautiful here all day. I planted the few potatoes I am going to grow (hopefully) and also planted two lots of tomato seeds and lettuce seeds. I also tided a couple of pots that had moss and weeds growing in them and also cut the lawn. Also I had a friend here for an hour and a half having coffee. I feel I should be doing a bit more but don't want to overdo it.

One lot of washing on the line and another one in the machine. I have cleared out the towel and sheet cupboard in the uti room and fed the birds and chickens. Found the pattern for my ironing board cover in there too so I can now make a new one. I am just giving it a wash first it in with some damask table cloths and a sheet.

It lovely and sunny but theres still that bitter wind. The sky is blue with very thin wispy cloud here and there.
