Good morning all, yes it was cooler last night, I thought I would leave the duvet on but at 1215 I woke too hot so threw the duvet back. finally woke at 0500, dozed again and woke just before 6am so I am up and not dressed as I didn't want to oversleep having to go out at 0940. It is 15 degrees here now so cool but not that cool. |

I’m going through one of my periodic not sleeping spells but I came to bed around 10.30 pm confident that I would sleep tonight as it is much cooler. I read for a short while then turned the light off and settled down. At 1.30 am I gave up waiting for sleep to arrive and got up again. I’ve had a cup of tea and just come back to bed but I am wide awake. I am so BORED. What can you do in the middle of the night but read? On my own I might even do some h/w but I can’t take the chance of waking OH. I don’t normally use a screen at night as I know the blue light it emits can keep you awake but I’m so fed up tonight that I thought my lovely cyber friends on here wouldn’t mind me having a moan. I will sleep eventually; I usually drop off around 5 am but I still wake about 7.30 with a headache that takes a couple of hours to ease up. |

I slept in fits and starts. It was 29 here but is extremely windy and the temp has dropped to 27. I have managed about half an hour in the garden potting on a couple of cuttings that I need to move outside for when we are away so that it is easier for Cynth to water for me. |

Boy, it’s hot. According to the IPad it’s 30 degrees but feels like 34. All I know is that I am melting. |

Gosh its been hot today and its still 26 degrees now. I did a little bit of gardening today and picked a few more strawberries but the rain had ruin some of them. They don't like sitting in wet but banty was happy to eat those ones and they were bigger than the others I picked. |

Temperature is much the same here AnnG and there is no breeze so it feels stifling. You are good to have done any gardening. I couldn’t face it in this heat. |

26 degrees here, very hot and sticky. I did manage to get the lawn cut but I don't have any more room in the wheely bin or the large weeding bucket. Lawn cuttings went into my compost bin, I don't like putting too much grass in there but that should be ok. |

Good morning all 19 degrees here but typically with our holiday so I see that there is a cold front expected later in the week. By the time we go away I bet the temperature drops and it rains. |

How did my Edit end up in the middle of my last post? I am sure I went back in and added it to the end of the post. |
