Morning all

Raining quite hard here today but hardly any wind, thank goodness, it was pretty windy here all day yesterday and not very nice at all.

Hello GRUMPY FRANK :-D :-D We all have our off days, hopefully yours will improve before the days out. You'll have to teach the naughty dog to be nice if he wants anymore treats off you. Maybe he was just excited if he's never seen you before. I'm sure he'll calm down when he gets to know you a bit better. Pleased to hear you had a good nights sleep. I thought you would with five pints inside you ;-) ;-) ;-) I'm not keen on LK either, so you're not on your own there Frank :-)

I didn't get time yesterday to write out my Christmas cards so I'm hoping to do them today. We have a snow Christmas tree that's just been put up so you can imagine the mess everywhere. So today's job HOOVERING lol. We have the viewing with the Japanese people tomorrow so I had to run the hoover around anyway, but the snow seems to have got everywhere so it'll probably take a bit longer than usual today.

Sandra and I are putting a small fibre optic tree into her bedroom today so she can decorate it. She had it in her room last year and loved it, so wanted to have it there again. I know what you mean Frank when putting up decorations and the trees, you have to move a few things around, we had to do the same here, but luckily only one small cupboard and a few ornaments. It does cheer you up though seeing all the Christmas lights everywhere, gets you in the mood for the big day :-D :-D <3 <3

I wish my avatar was my home David, isn't it lovely? It's more like my dream. I found it on the internet when I was looking for a property down south <3

I was watching my trees blowing in the wind yesterday Mel and was convinced one of them was going to be blown over, luckily it stayed put, but it was a bit scary there for a while.

Sandra's finally awake so I'll make a start on todays jobs now........a woman's work and all that ;-) ;-)
See you later <3

Morning all and evening Kim,

Another dull old day here with wind and rain as usual but the wind is not as high as it was yesterday. I have never seen the big tree in the garden move so much. Perhaps because it is usually windy at night or I have just forgotten...........

I have been asked by Ruby for your addresses so if you wish her to have them can you please send your address to her by pm. Thank you. She said she has Jane's and mine so it is up to you if you send her yours.

Morning from another Early bird, Evening Kim,

Yes Gill I slept like a log last night. and didn't wake until after 8.00 this morning.

Ros has the Bloody T.V. on. That Scottish woman who I can never understand L.K. and on comes that Andy bloke doing the GIVE AWAY. I can't stand him. So I am having a iffy, and came out of the way.

I see we have rain here this morning, just what I need, it will fit in well with my mood. !!! There's some silly arses singing Happy Birthday to her now. I think I will go back to bed :-( :-( :-( (grumpy old bugger this morning).

I bet I will be asked to bring in all the box's of Christmas tree, and decorations in later this morning, so she can start putting the tree up. It will be great FUN (NOT) !!! Moving furniture and packing away things that we won't need out.

How's my little Thomas this morning Jane.

Must tell you, there were three dogs down the pub yesterday, My nice LAB cross, a timid Jack Russell, and a Scottie (he was a little B) I offered him a chew stick and he almost took my fingers off, where as the others were so careful and took the treats very nicely. Needless to say HE never got anymore. :-D :-D :-D

Hope you all have a good day.

Morning all, you're too soft with that cat Jane, lock it in or lock it oot.

Ellen's got 4 FIFI, FlUFFY IZZY, ALFIE can you just picture it?

I think I must be a Philistine nothing wrong with body odour as long as it's clean

You'll sleep well tonight now Frank with FIVE pints to help you LOL :-D :-D ;-) ;-)

Sandra and I have just finished decorating the Christmas tree, we didn't start it till late as I decided to change all the beds and with making the roast as well, time just got away from us. We are decorating a little tree in Sandra's bedroom tomorrow, which she is looking forward to. The tree in the living room looks lovely now. We had so much to put on it we nearly ran out of branches to decorate, but it does look good.

We're just watching X Factor from last night and will watch the results show tomorrow as it's getting late now. We're up to date with Strictly, we had to watch yesterdays today with us watching Christmas films last night.

Hope the weather is better tomorrow than it's been today, the wind has been terrible.
Did Thomas stay out in the end Jane or was he smart and came back indoors? ;-) ;-)
We're off to bed after X Factor has finished.

Signing out now
See you all tomorrow
Night Night

Well here I am, Went to the pub to watch the Spurs V Chelsea match, then West Ham V West Brom. Both ended in draws. Being that I was there for almost FOUR HOURS. I had more pints than I should FIVE. I was quite Brames and List when I rang Ros to fetch me. !!! I was still able to cook dinner, which Ros said was very nice. She cleared away and did all the washing up while I had forty winks.

Poor old Thomas, being pushed out in all this wind. LEAVE HIM ALONE !! He will go out when he's ready. That Wine sounds quite nice Jane. I will have to get Madam to get some. She did bring me a box from Morrison's yesterday Six bottles for £20.00. That should last me a few days !!!!!

I'm in my dressing gown and ready to sit around for a couple of hours, before falling into bed.

See you in the morning.

Awh Mel they know where to shelter :-D.
Anne I only like white wine.James and Chris like the red.Although Chris likes both.
I did have a taste of that red and it is actually quite nice(for me).Just a nice light weight and smooth one.

Have just put Thomas out AGAIN !!!! .It is not raining now and the wind seems to have died down a bit..Poor thing he must feel like a YoYo.He was sitting beside his litter tray but not wanting to go there .I think he only uses that when he is desperate.

Dinner is almost ready and I am ready for it.Jess is just ready to go now so I better go and say ByeBye.

Anne

Winds still blowing a gale here. One of my chickens got blown up the run when I went to corn them. She was ok whilst at the side f the house but when she went to go round the front to go in the wind blew her backwards. I sdid laugh but found it hard to walk against the wind myself.

Washed my hair after I shut them in tonight and the bantams hav'nt been out on the gras for about three days now. They don't like the wind at all.

The two deer spent a lot of the afternoon behind the box hedge in the orchard out of the worst of the wind.

Jane

Jane Report 29 Nov 2015 17:07

Anne .The wine is called ANDARA.It is a Chilean Merlot.£3.99..I have just noticed Chris has one bottle warming lol

Tried to put Thomas out 3 times now and each time I open the back door he has been in like a rocket. He looks a real grump :-S.I am going to try again now as I think it might just have stopped raining. It is the wind though :-S.I might just leave the back door open for a bit (the wind isn't blowing in that way) and see if he just wanders out.Fingers crossed he does :-D

Anne Report 29 Nov 2015 16:01

It's blowing a gale here now. The Silver Birch still have some leaves left on but it is the pine trees that are a bit of a worry although they are the other side of the path that runs a long the back of the houses they are very tall. A lot of moss has fallen off the roof onto the conservatory, hopefully no tiles will come down with it.

All three cats are in, Timmy and Shadow are fast a sleep but Toby can't seem to settle I think it's the wind.

I cooked lamb today and nothing was left over, Last week when we had pork, for the last few minutes I put the grill on in the oven and it helped make the crackling really crunchy.

Jane what was the red wine called from Aldi as I would like to get some when I'm down there next. When Colin visits we do get through a lot more than usual, he's just got back from Barcelona it must have been one of his friend Jeff's tours, who relies mostly on past customers or word of mouth for the bookings.

Afternoon Everyone
Oh what a windy day.it seems to be getting worse here now :-S.I think I can see spots of rainon the window too .

Liz my favourite perfumes are Coco Channel and Chanel No 5.Over the years I have had many different ones.Eternity used to be a big favourite.
Mum had Evening in Paris when I was little.I remember my Sister throwing some of it my eyes :-S :-S :-S..She must have been about 4 or 5 then and still remembers doing that.I screamed the house down.
Janice wears a perfume that I find affects my throat and makes my face hot.I think it is Angel. She does have a different one now (the same make ) but I can cope with this one .It is Alien.
I do love a man to smell nice too.One of my all time favourite Aftershaves is Au Sauvage.I could SWOON if I smelled that lol

I am sat here with all my Xmas cards in front of me .I have still only done 6.I need t knuckle down and get them written.I will do the ones for overseas today and get them off this week.

Thomas had me up at 3.30 this morning :-S :-S..Most unusual to be so early these days.He was back in at 8 and has slept since then .So I have just turfed him out.He is not impressed and has probably snuck in the Summerhouse.

Hannah is at her friends little boys birthday party. He is 3 .Then she will be back about 3 for Chris to take her into Northampton to get the train back to London.
Jess will get her train from here just before 7 this evening.

I went to Aldi this morning to get Chris some bottles of red wine.Recommended by Fitz.Chris had a bottle with James yesterday and said it was really nice ...It is only £3.99 a bottle !!!!!!.So I got 6.
I expect Frank is down the pub now having a couple of pints and enjoying the Football.

It is so dark !!!!I feels like early evening. The fire is lit even though it is not really cold.It just cheers the place up :-)
The Boiler man will be here in the morning.I don't know what time though. The water is still dripping away into a bucket :-S

Have you got the decs on the tree yet Gill?..I passed a house this morning with all the outside done up with lights ,Snowmen ,Reindeer etc. That is the first one I have seen so far.I'm sure there will be more somewhere.
Had to queue to get out of Tesco car park earlier. It was so busy. All this Black Friday business .

Ann I forgot to say that I hope FIL hasn't had any more bad falls and that his head wound has healed from that nasty fall he had.I am sure there will be plenty more though :-S.It is so good that he has settled so well at the home.Your lives must be so much easier now.In fact you have your lives back.

I see on Facebook that Kim's little Grandaughter will be 1 on Tuesday !!!!!! It just seems like yesterday that Sophie was born.

Anne I loved Evening in Paris and when mum had finished with it I would get the blue bottle. I had a round one once with a glass stoppeer. At school a few of us girls would take our perfume bottles and fill them with water and put daisies in them during lunch or playtime. We all had little shoulder bags which we kept the bottles in. Once I filled my lovely round bottle to the very top and popped the stopper in and it never came out again!! I was so disappointed. Dad tried everything he knew to get it out but as far as I remember it never did. I never ever found another like it only the usual blue bottle with the pointed silver top and the little triangular silver label at the corner of the bottle.

I can't use cleaning products because of their smell and have to stick to the lemon scented ones. Polish is another thing as Ican only use old fashioned polish in a tin Antique Wax is what I use. Same with soap powder only Fairy or Bold lavender and only Lavender softner from Morrisons.

Morning Friends, and our Kimmy, Good afternoon,

Not a good night again, my brain just wouldn't settle down (it proves I have one) lol
Was up by 7.00 for my COT. Ros came out about 9.15 I sat with the paper for about an hour. Then did the veg for dinner and cut into the skin on the pork and salted it. I hope to get a nice piece of crackling off it ;-) ;-) ;-) All I have to do now is Yorkshire Pudding and CHEESE SAUCE.

I trust Ellen is feeling a bit better this morning David.

Anne, and Mel, I am sure you smell a sweet as a "SUMMER ROSE" with out perfume <3 <3 <3 Not saying the rest of my girls smell any worse LOL

I'm off to the PUB for 2.00 pm My West Ham are playing West Brom. and it's on SKY SPORTS TWO. I will be back in plenty of time to cook dinner which we will hav about 6.00 pm.

Not a special morning here, rain first thing, now very cloudy. So Ros will take and collect me from the pub

My Injection on Friday is still very sore, she penetrated the mussel in the top of my BUM, and boy is it still painful, will have words with her next time I see her. :-( :-( :-(

Good morning everyone

Still wet and very windy here again. I have just finished doing the vegetables for Sunday roast, as usual Paul and the girls will be arriving soon, Richard isn't up yet , nothing different there.

I'm like Mel I can't use perfume as it brings me out in a rash the same with most toiletries, it's only Dove or Simple brands that I'm 100% sure of. Do any of you remember Evening in Paris and Californian Poppy?

I hope Ellen is feeling better now David.

As you all know I can't wear it or any other perfume.
