Really Pat. Do you think we needed to know that?

I have been back to the hospital twice to try and get my inner soles for my shoes fitted. I have now bought another pair of lace up clar*s shoes. Took the soles to the shop with me. But the soles seem to prominent for me. Have to hold back in 2 months for another look
Have an appointment for physio on my knee now. Had to google where to go not knowing the areas around here. This appointment didn't take long to come though. Most proberly will be sent home with exercises. The doctor said the kneecap isn't laying in the correct place when bending.
Well I must get lunch. Off to do a shift this afternoon. I don't do as long shits like I used to do back home. Hope everyone else is ok

Patricia

Patricia Report 22 Jan 2016 12:22

Afternoon all.
I still trying to shift this cold etc. I wake up in the middle iof the night and sound like I have been smoking 20. Fags lol. I don't smoke. Tried it when I was a teenager

The rain is heavy here. Had rain all night as well Our bit of garden is full of puddles. The dogs have a towel permanently by the door. It will be nice when the weather is better than we can landscape the garden.
I'm getting used to the tumble dryer. Makes you lazy. But then I don't want to walk the mud back into the house..

Jane. Hope you get your car sorted soon.

Gill ? Good luck with the veiwing.

Ann. Will you be able to put your motherinlaws on the market soon

Frank. I hadn't heard anything about GR closing. But then we pay to use this site

Morning all, Evening Kim,

What a night, AGAIN. was awake at 5.00 am Just laid trying to get back to sleep. Last looked at clock 7.00 am I was having a dream, and was skipping down some stairs with an armful of cloths. I felt myself fall over, and realised it was THE DREADED CRAMP. I screamed out as it was so painfull in my left calf. I managed to get out of bed and through to the bathroom, where there is a non slip floor, but quite cold. It still hurts, and Iam hobbling around on my stick.

Oh Jane, That dealership wants reporting to the Manufacturers head office. There could be a nice bit of COMPO. coming your way, as an apology for the bad service !!! With all the modern Technology this just shouldn't happen. BE FIRM !!!

Horrible wet morning here. I had a lovely job to do this morning. While we were away. Tony put our Blue Bin out when he put it back, he put it in the wrong place. Last night in the dark I emptied the paper and plactic bag from the kitchen into the bin, Unfortuneatly I put it in the Green Garden Rubbish bin, So I was out there this morning transfering it.

Looks like it could be good news Ann, having both of them ringing while you were out yesterday. Lets hope all goes well now.

Good luck with your viewing today Gill.

Ros is just out of the bathroom after showering and washing her hair. She seems to have been in there for hours. (WHAT do you WOMEN find to do in there for so long) ???

My turn now, I will be in and out in TEN MINUTES. ;-) ;-) ;-) ;-)

Stay dry today.!!!

Morning all,

Dull and dreary here and the grounds all wet.

Jane Ann and G went to see The Revenant. She said in her post above.

I want to get some HW done today and then have a fiddle with my little things. Get some finished off as I have a few that are not quite done.

Jane as David said you won't miss that in the car park. Bright yellow gosh. When we used to go ringing with the children, on the way to where we were ever going if one of them spotted a yellow car they would bash the other one. There was some fights there. They would shout YELLOW CAR and out would come the hand towards the other.

David Report 22 Jan 2016 09:36

Well we're pleased you've alternative transport Jane
It will be easy to spot in the car park.
Is it Wimpey yellow?

Only teasing Jane. You'll get yours back soon :-D

Jane Report 22 Jan 2016 09:13

Morning All

I have a bright yellow little Renault Twingo sitting in the drive :-S..It was too dark by the time it came last night to go out and have a look. The chap said there is fuel so hopefully I won't be putting any in.
I was so fed up last night I had mug of Cocoa and went to bed early.
I can't remember the last time I had Cocoa. That was my bedtime drink as a child.

Good luck with the viewing today Gill.It would nice if the sun was shining for you but if it is the same with you as it is here it is blooming miserable and wet.

Ann what was the film you went to see? Hope the phone call from the solicitor was the one you were waiting for and that you can soon forget all about the house :-D

I am just waiting ot get in the shower (Chris is in there at the moment ),so I have my cuppa here. Then I will be off in the Twingo to get some shopping....You won't miss me in that bright colour LOL.Probably it can be seen from space it is so yellow !!!!!!!

Let's hope you're right Ann that the solicitor has sorted the deeds and you can finally sign the papers. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you <3
Thanks for the good luck wishes, lets hope it sells this time round. Have a nice time at the garden centre with your friends tomorrow.

I love the pics of Cass Liz, she's to cute for words. I liked the way she sat down for the camera. Looks like she loves having her pic taken.....bless her.

Signing out now, I only got a few hours sleep last night and didn't get anymore sleep today so I'm having an early night
See you all tomorrow <3

Evening All,

It makes you wonder what they've been doing with your car all day Jane! I bet they left it till later in the day thinking it would be a quick job, then didn't have time to look at the wiring. I take it the replacement is just till they fix the problem, but it is a nuisance having to put fuel in it in the meantime.

Lovely pics of the lovely Cassie Liz! She's looking quite grown up now. :-)

We went to the carvery today, then to the cinema to see the film The Revenant. It has good writeups and brilliant acting but I found it too gory and repetitive. OH wasn't that impressed either.

Yes, let's hope GR doesn't close down. I'd have to get more HW done if I didn't come on here!! :-S lol. I never dreamt I'd have friends on here when I first joined the site.

Tomorrow I'm meeting up with an old work friend for brekkie at a garden centre. It is our other friend who usually joins us that has breast cancer, so I'm hoping to hear how she is doing. This friend worked at another office with her as well and sees her more often at some of the work dos.

Good luck with the viewing tomorrow Gill. While we were at the cinema, both our estate agent and solicitor left messages for us to ring them back, but it was too late for us to do that this afternoon. We are hoping it means the house is registered and that we can sign contracts now. What a relief if it is.

Thanks Mandy. Yes she is a gorgeous little girl and SO affectionate, all she really wants is a cuddle!! She's an absolute poppet! Do you know we've never heard her growl, or even give us a funny look. I was very apprehensive when we first had her, but now neither of us would be without her.
Heavens Jane, what a performance with your car! I guess it'll sort itself out, but I'd certainly insist that the garage replaces your fuel!
I transferred my tree to ancestry ages ago. My sil was doing OH'S family tree and she was as to look up for me while doing her own research, so it made sense to be on ancestry, also the research is much better!!
The Bass was delicious, Cas had some, and wolfed it down, so we shall be having it again!
Yes, I saw about FMP Gill, so I shall have a potter round it this weekend! Gill couldn't you belong to some activity group, maybe where your OH works? I remember when I worked in Care, the local homes were always organising activities for the residents, and I'm sure you and Sandra would be more than welcome to join in. It would get you out and enable you to meet other people. Just an idea.
Son talked to OH this afternoon about some land he and his partner are hoping to buy. He,wanted OH'S advice!!! which was quite a surprise at his age!! ! But it's nice to be wanted!!!

Too right they should bring the replacement car to you Jane after all this messing about ,and fill it up with petrol ,it's not good enough they have had your car all day and now the wiring still needs checking .

My new sideboard came this afternoon so we have messing about unpacking that ,before i knew it it was time to do tea .

Oh Liz Cas is a little beauty ,give her a hug from me , i miss giving my poor old Toby hugs .

Gillx

Gillx Report 21 Jan 2016 19:23

Oh dear, Jane, you're really not having much luck are you. Hope it's all sorted soon. I don't blame you about the petrol, after all why should you pay again for another tank of petrol when you've just topped up the other car.

I hope Genes doesn't close down, if I didn't talk to all of you I'd have no one to talk to. I don't have any friends and the only person I see is my mum and that's not very often, none of the rest of the family on both mine and my OH's side bother with us, they never visit. Even Michelle doesn't bother with us much now. She said she couldn't make it down for her dad's 50th in July, but might come and see us in October. That will be over a year since the last time we saw her and we hardly talk online anymore.

I thought you might like to know that Find My Past is opening their records for free this weekend if anyone's interested, but not the 1939 register, which is a shame.
I'll certainly be taking a look :-) you never know what you might find

Sorry to hear Ancestry have lost your tree Mel, how did that happen? Is there a way you can get it back? Like you said if Genes were to close you'd end up with no tree at all. How big is your tree? I have over 3000 people on mine, so would be gutted if it was lost.

Are they not taking the wee Jane?
They ought to have given you a showroom car or one off the forecourt.

Your trade in and business was well received. Insist, speak to customers disapprovingly when their showroom is full, might motivate them.

Mel Fairy Godmother Report 21 Jan 2016 17:59

Good god what a bloody muck up Jane!!! I'm flabberghasted at what you have had to put up with. This should be a happy time getting a new car not this nonsense thats going on. They should put the petrol in for you too as you had filled the other one up. It's just not good enough in this day and age.

Jane

Jane Report 21 Jan 2016 16:57

Well the saga continues :-S....I am now waiting for a replacement car :-S :-S :-S
To say I am not a happy bunny is an understatement .
They say the lock/catch has been adjusted (again) but wiring needs to be checked.
Watch this space.I said I couldn't go in now to pick up the replacement so someone will deliver it to me shortly.I don't see why I should have to go all the way back at this time of the day :-P :-P..I bet there will be hardly any petrol in this car thats coming. So if I have to put any in I will be presenting them with a receipt.I filled up the new one on Tuesday.
