He doesn't look perky does he. Maybe he is just feeling weary. Best leave him Mel as long as there are no cats around. He looks an older bird.

I think one of my Robin's is on the way out. He keeps going to sleep by the back door and he's all fluffed up. He even tried to come indoors when I fed him he only eats about one or two worms and then just sits there and goes to sleep. I have taken a few pics and will send them. Oh went out and picked him up and told me to put some tissues in a big plastic pot and he put him in there but he just came out again.

Good morning Mel and Vera There was a frost this morning but the sun is shining and it is a beautiful day out there, would be good for a walk if either of us had any energy. OH is still not 100%, his tum seems ok and he had a good nights sleep but his energy level is low. My energy level is low I think primarily because of the effects of the Aldara cream which can make you feel fluey' He wants coffee now, seems like we have only just had breakfast but we were up late and showers and hair wash take ages for me with one arm.
Ann love the look of the bracelet, as Vera said what colours are you using.
Pleased the aches and pains are improving Vera.

Good morning
It’s sunny here this morning and it is supposed to stay dry today though I think it might be quite cold. We desperately need to do some gardening but I don’t want to risk more problems with my back or OH’s neck so that will have to wait a bit longer.
I googled the daydreamer rope Ann. It’s very pretty. What colours are you using?
We haven’t got anything much planned for today, just a bit of supermarket shopping so if we both feel OK later I might suggest a garden centre trip. Even a visit to the little nearby one would get us out of the house for an hour.
Have a good day everyone whatever you are doing.

The daydreamer rope is very nice Ann we will want to see yours when its done please. What colours are you using?
I'm pleased you liked my mistletoe pendants and yes the green colour is just right. You knwo me I like the natural things in jewelry and other crafts. the leaves were printed from leaves I pressed last year to get the right TEXTURE.
Well I am off now so I hope you all get a good nights sleep tonight, sweet dreams.

Oh it's good that the backs are improving and that Vera and Mandy have managed to get out and about today. It's good you have the right attachment for your physio exercises now Vera. I hope they are easy to do!
Mandy I am carrying on with the daydreamer rope I started a couple of weeks ago. If you google it you can see what it's like. It's a nice easy pattern, just repeating 3 rows so I can natter and not make mistakes. You can also use up small amounts of different coloured beads left over from other things you've made which is handy.

Evening all,
Oh Gill you need help as the others have said ,there's no way you can sort all this on you own . Sandra must have had some sort of statements from the bank if she had an account ,it would show what money was moved from her account to another . I can't see why you need to pay Sandra rent .i wonder where he got idea from perhaps you need to point out to him that Sandra still needs to pay her share of any bills .
Mel i love the mistletoe pendants the green is just the right colour and i think they would be nice as a brooch too. How lovely to see the barn owl ,i've seen them in the zoo and when we were out in the car a few years ago we saw one sitting on a gate post in a field .
Ann that's the trouble with a white car one wet day and drive out and it needs cleaning again . I hate driving where there all these lanes and your not sure which lane you need to be in , it's a devil of a job to get over ,i use to love driving and would drive any where but not now . What are you doing tomorrow with the ladies ? are you still beading ?
AnnG i hope your OH is feeling better now and that he doesn't pass it on to you what ever is was ,hope your arm is feeling less sore now .
Frank i'm glad your tooth ache has gone and that Ros enjoyed her day out ,how is little Biggles it must be nice to have him for a bit of company he sounds a little dear . Vera i'm glad your both feeling better and managed to get out for coffee with your friends . That's good that you have got the attachment from the physio people in the end ,hopefully the exercises will help your back pain .
My side is so much better today ,we walked up to the bank and boots and then went to Aldi to get a bit of shopping ,it was really busy today . Tomorrow we're off with son and DIL to Makro to have a stock up with loo rolls ,kitchen rolls ,soap powder ,coffee ,t bags and meat ,we usually go every two or three months ,we buy for son and DIL too which helps them out and saves a them a bit .

Oh Gill, I do feel so sorry for you. I am wary of suggesting much to you as I don’t want to give you wrong advice but I really do think you need professional help to sort this mess out. Could you do a bit of research online to see if there is any way you can free or means tested legal advice? Try not to get upset by Michael’s bully boy tactics. Accusations of stealing Sandra’s money and threats of the police coming round sound like harassment to me. Perhaps you could talk to the police yourself. Keep a note of dates and times of phone calls and what is said, just in case you need it later. As for you paying Sandra rent, words fail me. It’s certainly immoral of him to suggest it, but you need to find out the legal position. It may be different depending on whether you are joint tenants or tenants in common. Keep your chin up. It’s not long now till your phone chat on the 9th and you can come on here anytime and get things off your chest. If nothing else we can provide a listening ear.
I like your mistletoe pendants Mel. The leaf colour is just right and they are just that little bit different. How lovely to see the barn owl. Outside of aviaries and zoos I’ve only once seen one. That flew across in front of my car and frightened the life out of me till I realised what it was. It was so ghostly.
I hope T. Is feeling less shaky now AnnG and that your arm is not so sore now. I hope Mandy’s back is a lot easier as well.
Enjoy your sherry Jane, or Baileys if that’s your tipple today. I’m just going to have a wine while I finish off dinner which should be ready about 7. It’s a beef casserole tonight and I’ve done double so it will do for tomorrow as well.
OH and I are both much better today and went down town for our coffee with the “gang” - 10 of us turned up today. The three men there went off to another table and we 7 ladies put the world to rights. I got an apologetic email with the correct attachment from the physio people so I have been very good and done my exercises. I’ll have another go at them this evening.
I’d better get on with finishing off this dinner. OH doesn’t know yet but the gravy in the casserole is beef stock with about half the bottle of his favourite red wine (cabalie) ;-)

I just missed your post Gill and think you may be right that her old bank account is likely to have been closed by now. You may be right about them sending you txts on her behalf too so you won't know what the position really is. It is all very worrying.

Afternoon All,
A few showers this morning so my car is mucky again now. We were up early and they were quick and efficient getting OH's x-ray done at the hospital so we went to a hotel nearby and had breakfast there instead of having lunch out today. We both said we were glad we didn't work anymore and have to battle the city rush hour traffic which was awful. How you are supposed to be in the right lanes on multi lane islands when all the white arrows have worn off and traffic surrounds you I don't know.
Gill I'm so sorry you had those panic attacks as I know how terrifying they can be and you can feel so dreadful you think you are going to die. I was given Diazepam to take in an emergency, but managed to cope without them, although it was nice to know they were there if needed. Food could sometimes seem to trigger them with me, especially in the evening, which is why I totally stopped eating after teatime, (which is better for you anyway). I stopped drinking any alcohol and I only have decaf tea now as they are stimulants. I hope the counselling call helps you.
What a mess! The bank wouldn't be resourced to do jobs that they expect you to do yourself. They even charge if you lose and need replacement paperwork. I don't understand why you don't have a note of Sandra's account number and details so unspent money could be returned to her? Didn't she get statements, a cheque book or any letters from her bank that had her bank account and sort code on? You obviously realise now why you should never muddle another adult's money with your own and to keep records to avoid risk of accusations. At least you are attempting to work out what is Sandra's money, but whatever you do keep your calculations safe somewhere and don't throw them away after. It seems when Sandra became an adult you carried on with things as if she was still a child and since she's been an adult no-one has had legal authority to manage her finances on her behalf. I don't understand why you wouldn't formalise things to protect both Sandra and yourself. If you had had POA for her and kept records as required by a POA, no-one else could have taken control of her bank account from you, even if she had moved elsewhere and in which case, if money is the motivator, none of this may have happened if no-one else could touch her bank account or make any other financial decisions for her. :-S I don't have any idea what any rent position would be, but it's another reason to get professional advice.
Mel your Mistletoe pendants are nice and that green is just the perfect leaf colour for them isn't it. Those moments when you see something like that Barn Owl are magical aren't they.
AnnG that strange thing with your hubby sounds like what I had with the shakiness so maybe it was a bug after all.
Our garden bin has arrived and I think we can squeeze it down the side of the bungalow on the front with the others and be out of sight which is good. Now we need to get some numbers to put on it.
I'd better get my things ready to visit my friends tomorrow now and I must see if I can find a birthday card for OH tomorrow. Men's cards all seem to be beer mugs, football, gardening, cars or golf!!! lol. It takes me ages to find a nice one. :-D

Gill if you do on line banking and you know Sandra's bank details (when she gets her new card) you can do a bank transfer from your account to hers. Where does Michael get his ideas from (other than wanting to a) wind you up and b) get some money out of you. I am pretty positive that you don't have to pay Sandra rent. what a truly unpleasant and ignorant man he is. I suspect they are finding it is costing them more to keep Sandra than they expected.

Jane I believe that chemo causes a metallic taste in your mouth therefore the tanin in wine will taste unpleasant. Enjoy your sherry or Baileys if that is still ok to drink.

The trouble with Citizens advice is that they lost a lot of their funding and I believe don't operate in all areas if at all.

Afternoon all, Ros had a lovely day out with four other ladies. She didn't get a free ticket. It cost
I did have a good old chin wag with Jane yesterday. Nice to hear from her, and that she is getting along alright. She said she can't stand the taste of wine anymore and has turned to Bristol Cream Sherry. (MOTHERS RUIN) lol lol
Dark horrible day here, when re we going to get some decent weather. ??
Vera you certainly seem to have your share of problems. I hope your OH is felling little better today. I can't remember what you said caused your back problem. But as you know I haven't kept up with everything.
Mel, I remember years ago, I caught sight of a Barn Owl in my headlights sitting on a field gate post. As the road was very quiet, and no traffic, I sat for a good 10 minutes looking at him/her, and it didn't more at all.
Gill, with all that's going on at the moment, it's no wonder you are getting these panic attacks. You must try to relax, and get LEGAL ADVISE A.S.A.P. Go to Citizens Advice, who will be much cheaper than a Solicitor.
Ros is just back from Stitchery do. So will close and catch up again soon. xxxx

Hi gill sorry to hear about the panic attack, hopefully now you have sorted the doseage out it will help your anxiety.
The bank probably don't have time to sort out your account or it may be something they are not allowed to do. When the money went in (and how long a time are we talking?), Did you pay it in over the counter, or did it go direct to your account from whoever paid it out (DSS?). Or did you transfer the money on line from Sandra's account to yours. Whichever way you did it, there should be a traceable trail. Do you bank on line? I think you are going to have to do some estimating because it depends how far you are going back and you will have no record of money you drew out of your account whether it was for Sandra's use or your own. It is predictable that whatever you say is Sandra's Michael will put his oar in and say that it is not enough. Is there anyone in your area who advertises advocacy help?
Ignore Michael, you could counter accuse that he is just trying to get hold of her money and he has no legal rights whatsoever. Do not let him frighten you with the police, you have to stand up to bullies so if he says he will report you to the police tell him you are seeing a solicitor if he gets cross with Sandra for phoning you.
9 o'clock was possibly a bit late for them to call in if they then had to drive back to Leeds but they should be making arrangements to bring Sandra to see you.
And you need to get your phone fixed or replaced or you will miss Sandra's calls.
Hope you can find a solution to the problems anyway. Someone else on here might have other suggestions.
:-) <3

Your tummy needs something to work on. I really think you should get in touch with SS and see if they can help. I don't think any of this should have happened in the first place.
Don't worry about commenting on the posts as we all understand. <3 <3 <3

Well OH slept ok last night and seems much better in himself but his tummy is still a bit 'unstable' so best not to go out today. We really need to go and sort our ISAs out but maybe tomorrow. Just tried to do it over the phone but he has to do mine as I can't hear on the phone and we got nowhere with the explanations for that as young man needed to ask me the security questions and OH was not allowed to ask me them for him so full stop. OH told him we would re-invest elsewhere. :-D And is now trying to find another way of doing it.

Morning AnnG and all,
Another miserable day here with that horrid light rain that soaks everything. We had that all day yesterday too. The ground is all soaking again and snap crackles and pops when you walk across it.
I have to go up the shop for my loaf today and they still hav'nt got my asprin so must ring the docs first.
The mistletoe was taken from actual mistletoe leaves which I had pressed last year and pressed them into the clay and cut around them. The colour just happened to be in the box of colours oh bought me for Christmas and as soon as I saw it I thought Mistletoe leaves.
