How upsetting Anng and still no heat. You will have to get on to them first thing in the morning.
It rained here today but brightened up this afternoon. I walked out the back and threw the snake into to the back field and walked round and picked a few blackberries for the bantams and whilst putting them in there one escaped followed closely by another.Tiny Miney was calling to her friend to come and look at what she had found round the side of the house. Then the third one came out while I was trying to get the second one in. I stood and watched them have a poke around for a bit and went in the shed and got down a roll of green shading stuff and caught it in the bedroom door of their house and unwound it round to where they were. They saw me coming and headed for home as they had no escape past the netting. I thought I was going to have to go and get oh to help me. Panic over..... :-D
Started undercoating some more stones today as oh wants a Cartman one.
FRANK you now you can drink too much water don't you? A youn g girl died from srinking too much once.

Doctor suggested he keep a diary Ann but I can't see him doing so, it is not his thing although I may be wrong. this morning he disn't have a headache but his back was bad, this afternoon he had both. Back was first, headaches about a week later. He only takes about 4 nurofen in 24 hours as he hates taking pills.

Afternoon All,
More sunshine, but a bit hot now for me today. I went in the greenhouse this morning and picked 2 basins of toms and the tomatoes were hot to pick and it was boiling in there.
I got lunch ready for when OH's meeting this morning finished and then found what I thought was a nice leftover pale green emulsion to paint my flowerpot as the base colour. Well it will need a few coats but it is more like off white at the moment so I don't know if the pigment has faded or it needs a better stir. I might try mixing some of my acrylic art paint with it for the next coat.
Frank I think you do need seeing by a doctor with all this going on. Did the doctor not think you might have the virus when you spoke? Have you got a fan you could switch on to cool you down? I think you are quite vulnerable being on your own and suffering dizziness as well. I would ring 111 for some advice.
I hope you soon feel better Island and am looking forward to seeing your chair when it is finished.
AnnG might it be an idea for your OH to keep a diary with his headaches, when they start, what he's eaten, what he was doing etc to see if there is a pattern. I can't remember now, but which started first, his bad back or the headaches? I was wondering if it is the painkillers causing the headaches now?
OH seems to have hurt his back again. He thinks it might be from lifting the shopping in on Sunday, but the past few days he has been watering the toms and I saw he is filling the cans right up again when I was in the greenhouse this morning!!
Good you got the wipe down done before it got so hot Mel, but now you.ve hurt your finger! I see the gongalongs were good and handy that pocket for the string, saves some bending down. Good you got the biccies too.
OH forgot to lock the front door one night last week, so we have OCD about checking everywhere is shut and locked at night now. Good job we decided to double check last night as the back door was wide open. We each thought the other had locked it! :-0

Just popping in,
Mel that was good to get your biscuits for free. ENJOY THEM.
I am in "NO MANS LAND" at the moment. I have the SHAKES and going HOT and COLD. I have all the windows and doors open, including the FRONT DOOR to try to get a breeze though the bungalow. I have been drinking glass after glass of water, I have tried lying down on the bed, but as soon as I close my eyes, the room starts to spin. I've spent ages, just walking in and out trying to find a cool spot.
I don't want to ring Ros, as Jan is taking her to lunch, for her Birthday. I have been tempted to ring 111 or 999, but don't think I should be wasting their time. PLUS if Ros came home to find I had been taken to hospital, she wouldn't be to pleased with me.
:-| :-| The front door has just blown shut, so there must be a good breeze somewhere, I will prop the door open, so I can the the breeze through.
I am so SORRY unloading my problems on to you all. But I know you will read it and get on with your day. But it helps me. THANKS.
I might try to get back later, to let you know how i am.
Barry has just turned up to cut the lawns, and trim the bushes. He is full of COLD. so really shouldn't be out working. He said he is going home after doing my jobs.

Just finished the wipe down and now I am knackered and its lunch time.
The driver took back my funny biscuits but said he could'nt refund me because I bought them last week. Get in touch with Asda. Then he found the packet I had ordered this week so he took the funny one back and gave me the new one for nothing. We opened the new one to make sure it was ok.

Good Morning all, Yes Mel, we have the photo of the snake. Haven't seen one of those for years.
Not a lot of change with me. I'm afraid to say. I did sleep well last night from 11.00 pm until 6.00am.
Jan is up from Devon, staying with daughter Kerry. She has arranged to pick Ros up this morning, and taking her out for lunch. I think they will be going to a green centre also. So a nice quiet day at home for me.
My left eye has decided to blur over agin. I have rung the eye dept., but need to go through the doctor, as I was discharged by the dept. last year. So have to go through the booking system again. No wonder the NHS is skint. lol lol
Window cleaners are here, so more EXPENSE £8.00 per visit.
Jan is here now, so will go and say halo. xxxx

Morning Anng and all,
Its overcast here today but quite bright as the sky is pale grey.
Big wipe down day for me today. I wonder what time he will turn up?
I was tying up the heleniums yesterday and lifted a huge bunch and grabbbed a bit of a rose that had grown through them. It ripped up the sideof my left hand and little finger and this morning I Iwent in the lounge and opened it up again o the door handle. The rip on my little finger is right on the first crease where it bends. Don't know why I opened the door with my left hand as I am right handed!! :-0
I think poor T badley needs to get some treatment for this headache as it should'nt have gone on for this long unless he has a trapped nerve in his neck too. It can happen.
Thinking of Island and Jane and Frank and sending a gentle ((hug)) and love. <3
Did we see Vera yesterday?? and Mandy?

so many people not in a good place for one reason ot another this year. Hope things improve for you soon Island.
MeL Trouble is for T I don't think the Dr actually knows what to do, I think a headache lasting this long is quite unusual, it is worrying, hopefully doc will have some suggestions after speaking to the specialist. Goodness knows how long he will have to wait for a scan if that is what is decided. As for the back, I think we all know that can take a long time to recover.
Looks nice and sunny again here anyway, at least a stroll in the garden will be pleasant. Waiting to hear again from the boiler man as he is supposed to be coming back sometime.

I'm here Mel :-) just come in from the garden. I would be assembling the chair out there but need to make more webbing. Not in a good place at the moment I'm afraid. The final straw is often of no significance or real relevance but it can still trip the camel up.
I wish you all well
Btw, my 'tipple' is always a cup of tea.

Just come down from the border. Oh kindly brought me up a nice drink. Its been baking here and the gongalongs were perfik, nice and cool and I can get my big ball of string in the pocket so could tie things up. My pink penstemon has grown really tale this year I have never seen it this big and its spread out a lot.
Its good the docs rang both Frank and T but neither of them got much treatment out of them did they? 2 weeks seems a long while to wait for another blood test and nothing about the shakes and crawling feeling Frank is experiencing. Its just as though they are not bothered, so frustrating. Poor T too at least he has a scan coming up. I do hope they both feel better soon and get some good nights sleep.
Well I need to get the dinner ready. Oh is out mowing still, thats the trouble when you have so much grass to cut and with one machine out of action over the past few weeks the outside the wall had'nt been done. He's doing the west lawn at the mo with the younger mower that picks the grass up.
No Island again I bet she's in the garden and not doing that chair. If she had done it she could be sitting out on it by now enjoying a nice drink.
Hope Gill is feeling better today too and not got the headache. <3

Oh Frank you do sound in a state. How did the doc take your temperature down the phone or did you do your own? More blood tests but they don't sound too concerned. Do as Ros says though and get help if you feel worse.
Not much help for his back then AnnG. just more rest and painkillers for now, but at least he might get a head scan now. I keep wondering how he might get a better night's sleep as he must be exhausted.
The boiler man has been and typical, the tap behaved for him,,,,,,,,well the first few times then dripped a bit! We've agreed to see how it goes for now as it might be because it isn't used much! He did the boiler, fire and gas hob and we kept out of the rooms he was in and had the patio door, back door and windows all open. I paid him in cash and put the exact money on the other end of the dining table for him to pick up. He had a mask on but was wearing it under his chin round his neck!! Afterwards I wiped everything he might have touched. I just need to go through what goes under the sink now and see if I can find boxes for some things.
Mandy those cue stems are quite scratchy aren't they. I must pick more of our toms as they aren't growing very well now.
Just remembered I haven't put the washer on! :-0

T has spoken to his doc as well I stayed out of the room and left him to it, he was on the phone quite a while. (I had actually written out all the bullet points he should mention and he says he did). The Dr said he thought ;last time they spoke he was getting better, T said he thought it was but it has got worse again.
Dr has booked another blood test for tomorrow as he says he missed the one that shows inflammation and he is contacting a specialist about the headaches to see if they think he needs a scan (of his head). Don't think he is too worried about the back. He also suggested the optician and he has made an appointment to see him.
Anyway, more wait and see. Not too bad this morning but headache still there, he did do a bit in the garden. One of the main problems is he is not sleeping as the pain wakes him up. Dr said to continue with the nurofen So more wait and see.
Frank your Dr doesn't seem too concerned if you have to leave it 2 weeks.

Afternoon all,
Frank why don't you ring 111 and get some help and advice ,they'll soon decide if you need an ambulance ,you can't go another night feeling like that ,better safe than sorry .
AnnG I hope your OH can get to see the doctor he must be really tired out with all the pain poor chap, he just seems to take one step forward then two back . That wasn't very good of tesco bundling all the groceries together in a poly bag ,I should think there will be complaints about them doing that.
Ann I hope the boiler man has been and your all sorted now .
So it's the day for trying out your Gongalongs Mel :-D I keep meaning to ask how your toe is ,have you lost your nail?
Phew it's hot out and I've been in the greenhouse cutting all the old tomato stalks and the cucumber stalks just picked the last two big cues and a couple of small ones . Lots of runners to come I sliced up some more for the freezer this morning ,I think we have seven bags in there now ,I always use to blanch the runners before freezing now I just slice them up and freeze .
As always love and hugs to Jane <3
