That sounds a good day all round then Anng. You also have some colour to put in the garden for the winter with the violas. Where are you going to put them?
Island oh said that if you could get hold of some kale plants they may stand a chance by they should have been sowed in September. As to Spinach you could give it a go but they may not germinate well or get waterlogged if we get a lot of rain but Hey ho give it a go.
Been to the library and the girl in there Julie, said there is more than one case in Shebbear because of the colledge. The students come from all over the whole to go to this school and are boarders mostly and there's a lot of chinese and foreing students there. You see them going down the shop sometimes. I don't think they shoud have let the students go back to school at all even other children. Think to there should be another complete lock down.

We left home at 0845 and there was absolutely no traffic on the roads (that includes the main road out of Gloucestershire towards Wales, usually very busy. )No school of course, makes such a difference) OH had no problems driving once we had his seat comfortable with the pressure cushion in and back rest too.. His 30 minute session seemed to go well, the physiotherapist (Adam) worked at the top of his spine which is where the muscles have really tightened. We decided that, on the way home we would call in to the local garden centre mainly to get some bulbs and violas but he decided we should go in for a coffee as well. so he then walked ( with his stick) quite strongly sometimes with my support sometimes on his own to the restaurant. we didn't look at the plants as it was drizzly rain and a bit cold. We had coffees and (wonder of wonders) he suggested a toasted tea cake. theirs are quite big and I had the bottom half and he had all but a very small corner of the top half and ate it all. I know that doesn't sound a lot but for mid morning believe me it was a lot and he drank all the coffee and enjoyed it (and he has been off coffee for a while too) They didn't have any bulbs left which was a surprise but he then walked (on his own) back to the car while I went and got a trolley and picked yp 18 violas. We got home at 1145 and he felt really good with himself.
Next session booked for 5th November at 11am which is a more civilised time for when the kids are back at school.
so we both feel better for having been out in the world seeing people all socially distanced of course.

Morning(?) all I thought I'd better show my face. Not getting on well with the new specs but will persevere and call them on monday. Distance ones are fine. Something zapped me out on Tuesday, pain in both arms and so tired. My day went -bed > armchair > sofa > table (eat) > sofa > early bed. Whenever I opened my eyes there was a little fluffy face looking at me, he knows if we're under the weather and we can't fake it just to get his attention LOL
You seem to be in a vicious circle of attacks Frank. Are you able to work out a trigger for them? Perhaps the hospital or your gp might refer you for some 'mindfulness' sessions. I wish you well.
I do hope your OH is on the 'home straight' with his mystery back and head problems AnnG. I was reading that lack of food can cause headaches, not that I'm suggesting that as the reason but it won't help - another vicious circle I guess.
I hope your foot will be better soon Vera and you can be rid of that most attractive shoe :-0
We cleared our beans a couple of weeks ago (?) but it's been to damp to do anything outside. PSB looking sturdy but nothing else on the go except we keep finding tiny strawberries in strange places! I've pegged down about 8 strawberry runners now as we're going to move them for next year. Is it out of kilter to sow some kale and spinach seed now? Perhaps give some a 'dogs chance'?
Annx, I could pick that apple up and crunch into it, could also pick the onion of the page. Very good :-D
Mel, what dear deer you have. I hope they don't eat too much of your garden :-0 :-D
I haven't done much arty-ness this month but the table is now clear - and the 'to do' list long! Grr, I just want to play!
I see it is now afternoon........

Afternoon All,
I slept. well too but couldn't get back to sleep after waking at 7.00am ish. I still lay in though as did OH but the phone rang with a very strange high pitched ring. OH got up to answer it and thinks I must have changed the tone somehow making space for painting.
I see Bobby Ball has passed away after being taken to hospital with breathing difficulties. He tested positive for Covid. RIP Bobby, you always made me smile.
Yes, roll on your appointment Frank. The paper bag was suggested to me like Mandy has suggested and I bet I still have one in one of the zipped compartments of my handbag. OH used to cup his hands over his mouth as he breathed which has a similar effect.
Oh that is good the family helping with the logs Mandy and I can picture Max thinking the sticks were part of a game for him! I am loving the gingerbread house already and never dreamt it would have smoke coming out of the chimney!! How good is that!
I am putting the washing on with fingers crossed this afternoon and hope it will stay dry tomorrow when it is hung out. More work on deciding what I will paint this afternoon after we have popped to the doctors to drop our scripts in. I'm glad the photography class has ended now as doing the painting as well could be a bit much! I thought we would just be watching demos with a little practice of techniques and not doing whole paintings. I am enjoying it though, but wish I was a bit quicker.
Better check lunch now.

Morning all,
You have been busy posting. Its raiing here and miserable so no change there then.
Also library day so I must'nt forget.
What a nice lot of help you had getting the logs in Mandy and being able to see the little ones too was a bonus. Dear Max I can just imagine him with the bean stalks. He must have thought it was a great game. I mis having an open fire but not the mess it makes.
Poor Frank yes you should try the paper bag and see if that helps. Oh retired from the fire service at 45 thats how I met him when he moved down here.
Hope T gets on ok at physio today and the drives not too much for him on top of the treatment.

Good morning all,
Had a good nights sleep, woke to rain again. I've had my COT and made Ros hers.
I have to book an EYE TEST with Vision Express. Been trying to do it on line, but given up as a BAD JOB.help, I will get Ros to do it when she goes to Tesco.
Sounds like you won't be going cold Mandy, with all those logs. Nice that the family came and helped.
I need some jobs doing, but getting Harvey up to do them is a waste of time, so I will pay Barry to do them.
Simon has just rung to confirm he is RETIRING on 13th November. Not bad for a chap of 55. He is going to get a little part time job, to help with his pension from Fords. He has been there for 30 years, so good luck to him.
I have been having my TURNS since I got up. Roll on next Thursday when I go to the hospital. I hope I can get some answers and help.
See you later. xxxx

Morning AnnG, morning all.,
Yes all set up for the winter now AnnG it's lovely seeing a nice blazing fire especially when it's snowing and you can cosy down . Hope all goes well for OH at the physio today .
When I got up about quarter to seven this morning the sky was a picture ,all the clouds were a beautiful pink and everywhere had that funny rosy glow ,now it's cloudy here with rain set in for most of the day . Don't know what we have planned for today but it won't be anything outside that's for sure .

Logs came at ten and son ,DIL and the two young ones came to help ,Colin filled the barrows and son and DIL barrowed the logs to the woodshed where the two little ones helped me to stack it , it was all stacked away in about an hour ,i did some bacon rolls for lunch and it was so nice to see the little ones running about in the garden. It had been a lovely sunny morning and about the middle of the afternoon it started to rain so i quickly got the washing in but it wasn't dry as i as late hanging it out .
Vera sorry your back is now painful ,i bet it is to do with the shoe ,that extra little bit of height on the shoe is throwing your body over to the side and your walking differently .
Ann the gingerbread house is coming along ,i have it all fitted together and have the snow on the roof :-D i have the chimney with the chimney pot and smoke coming out of the pot to go on but i think i'll do put that on last as it would get in the way when i need to stitch the other bits on ,i have stitched the door on with a wreath on the door and i've put one window on too.
Frank you are having a rough old time of it with these attacks i'm so sorry it must be awful for you ,don't they say if you breath into a paper bag it can help with hyperventilating ,it helps to balance your breathing.
If i get any tomato sauce on my tops i put a little washing up liquid on the stain before it goes in the washer and it does help to take the stain out ,it better if you can do it before it dries on the top .
Mel we kept Max in while we did the logs as he would have been out the gate ,but when we'd finished he found a bit of bark he was carting about with him ,when we we're getting the runners down as fast as we we're filling the bags he was trying to pull it out it was so funny he thought it was great having all these stalks to play with :-D
Oh Ann don't those Geese make a racket when they go over ,you can hear them coming . I meant to say when i was in the front garden cutting the rose back there was three little birds that came down i think they were the little hedge sparrows ,they were so close if i had put my hand out i could have touched them .

Sauces with tomato in don't come out unless you wet them straightaway either, same with cloths you wipe it up with. I remember making a crossover apron in red gingham at school by hand. It was before I was 9 years old as I was at a school on the edge of Cannock Chase then. It was really comfy to wear.
The geese have just flown over the bungalow on one of their practice flights before migrating. They come from the lake on the business site just down the main rd. They talk as they fly so you can always hear when they are coming. I'd better check my car tomorrow as it always seems to be in their flight path and gets covered in whoopsies!! :-0

Is'nt it always the same. I wear old clothes because going out to the chickens twice or three times a day I manage to get mud on me or if I'm in the shed doing something I may get oil on me so I am mostly in old things that don't matter. I have two aprons, one mum bought me wgich I use when doing pastry and cakes and the other one has chickens all over it but I do use both.I fancy one that has cross over straps and wraps right round you. I am always dropping gravy or tomato sauce from spag bol down my front.
Frank five the pills a chance to get into your system properly but mention it to the hospital when you go anyway. Has your head healed well now after the nasty falls you had?
Wonder if Mandy's logs arrived and they got them put away? Also wonder if Max tries to help. When I lived in Suffolk and we had a log burner and I went out for logs the dogs used to bring one in too.
Bubble and squeak tonight and I have put cooked bacon in it and we will have a couple of nice eggs with it.

Coming out of the blue with no warning is a panic attack Frank. I would feel a surge going up my body like I imagine an electric shock would feel and would feel prickly/tingling over the surface of my skin and go up to my hair roots, just like you you feel when a fright seems to make your hair stand on end. I think this is the same as the creepy feeling you describe. It makes you feel something dreadful is going to happen to you next. The heating up comes at the same time and I would feel my heart pound, feel sick and too dizzy to walk across a room and get shaky. The thing to remember is that once the adrenaline is in your system it will only last about half an hour at the most. When you go to the hospital try anything they suggest and the meds you are taking will start to help more after a month or two.
No rain to speak of here although it was forecast. I could have done the washing again! :-( I think Friday is supposed to be dry in this neck of the woods.
I've had a lazy day today, apart from getting lunch........more dauphinoise potatoes........one left now, but we have till Sunday so will have a change tomorrow!
I must start wearing something different as I keep slobbing around in very old things, mostly as I am bound to slop something down me getting or eating lunch!! Maybe I should make me a pinny? I do have a couple that I have used for the fused glass classes in the past but one is far too nice to spill things on!! lol. :-)

RAIN and more RAIN here. It started soon after I posted this morning.
These attacks seem to come from nowhere, but I have had quite a few since this morning. As I can't get out onto the patio, I just stand with the conservatory door open and breath deeply. It helps until the next one comes along.
No Mel I haven't had a change of MEDS. Perhaps a chat with the DR. is the answer. There is no way you can get to see anyone, which I think is all wrong. I feel that a face to face is much better. Perhaps I will get some help next week at the hospital.
Ann, I just get this horrible CREEPING FEELING over my body, and then I heat up, and have to get fresh air. Thanks everyone for your concern. xxx
F & C tonight, not that Ifancy anything at the moment. I filled myself up with the lovely stew at 12.30. I might feel like something this evening when they come at 6.00 ish.
The sky is clearing to the west, and you can see the sun as it's setting. So we might get a dry evening.
Keep safe everyone, I will see you tomorrow. xxxx

Morning All,
It looks like Hannah is sending all of us her emails, I had the first one from her too. I knew she would be the one to let us know things as she has lots of get up and go. even though she is heavily pregnant now. We will all be able to think of Jane on the day now we know the funeral arrangements.
What a nuisance you have back pain that's getting worse too Vera. I bet it's all to do with walking differently and shifting your weight off your bad foot. Maybe a crutch or walking stick would take a little weight off the bad foot and help your back a little? That's a shame Oscar has passed away. Very upsetting for your daughter as we become so attatched to pets. I like the miniature Snauzers and there was one next door when we moved here. Jean who lived opposite then and was my age then would take him for 8 mile walks!
AnnG it is hard to explain, but if you click onto Pinterest and put 'one point perspective' in the search box you will see some examples.
I hope the logs have arrived Mandy and are all stored away now, it'll be another job done! How is the gingerbread house coming along? you are so quick at crochet and knitting and so neat too. :-) :-)
Sorry they are still so bad Frank. Does the overheating come on with the attacks or are you too hot all the time? Try and distract yourself with your book.
