Morning Anng and Mandy and all,

WE have bright sun this morning blue sky with white clouds and a it of a breeze but what it will be like later is anyone guest probable rain and cloud.

Glad you had a good nights sleep Anng and got your Christmas slot. When's it for? Mine is 22nd December just two days before Christmas eve.

Hope too that oh is comfortable this mornig and they have been able to give him some pain killers and he had a better nights sleep if you can in hospital.

Need to get some washing in the machine as I think we have wind and rain over the weekend.

AnninGlos Report 13 Nov 2020 09:37

Have not heard again from OH so I assume he is the centre of attention in there.

Managed to get to the Tesco Christmas slots after an hour and a half in the queue. And I pay extra through the year to get a priorit slot at Christmas especailly. Daughter has taken longer than me and clicked on the aite before me so it must be regional.

Morning AnnG morning all,

Glad you got a good night's sleep Ann hope OH managed one too.

Bit dull here this morning we might get an odd shower or two during the day so do I hang washing out ,there's a nice blow so they probably wouldn't want to be out for long .

We have our flu jabs booked for today so a little walk out to boots late morning .

Good morning all I slept well last night, bed at 10.30 and didn’t wake until 0530. Couldn’t get back to sleep so made acCOT and switched the computer on to wait for Tesco Christmas slots to come up. “You are currently in a queue. Been in the queue now for 30 minutes. Wonder how long it will take to get to the front of the queue.. that I on my main computer so using the iPad at the same time.

Didn’t hear any more from OH but it will be breakfast time now, myopic the food is ok in Glos Royal, he said it was not bad in Cheltenham. Doctors rounds are apparently at 0800. Might know more after that but I won’t hold my breath.

AnninGlos Report 12 Nov 2020 21:40

He phoned from his trolly in the corridor while hw was waiting for a bed on a madical ward. So it was a short phone call. Probably not hear any more until tomorrow. I am hoping he is in the right ward for them to look at his back.

Like Vera said I'm glad he's gone in too AnnG he couldn't have gone on like that being in so much pain ,hopefully this time they will get him the right treatment .
I hope you can get a good sleep tonight you must feel shattered with trying to help OH and it must have been very scary when he shook and glazed over .
Look after yourself and try not to worry ,it's at times like this you need family to be there but with lock down they wouldn't be allowed anyway .
Having to stay at home doesn't help either if you could be there with him you could have your say and push them to do more for him .
I hope you hear some thing tonight so you can settle for the night .

I feel really tired tonight so will say night night .

Well I hope they look further than the things he already had done in hospital. If only they would take him for a MRI on his back and head.
It is strange here without him again but I am relived to be able to have a rest I have walked over two miles today without leaving the house. Changed two beds and done three loads of washing.

We don’t know who ordered the paramedics in the end he spoke to so many agencies one of them must have been concerned about him.

SuffolkVera Report 12 Nov 2020 19:54

I never thought I would tell anyone that I was pleased their OH was in hospital but I am glad yours is AnnG. What a performance you had getting help but I am sure he is in the right place now and I have everything crossed that they will be able to sort him out this time.

I’m sorry to hear that poor Ros is not feeling too bright. She might be best just sticking to water for 24 hours, though a doctor did tell me that flat Coca-Cola is very good at replacing the sugar, salts and other things that the body loses with these tummy upsets. I hope she feels a lot better tomorrow.

The Regatta fleece that I ordered arrived and looks great. I’m very pleased with it for the price and will now wrap it up and get it posted to the boy - not really a boy as he’ll be 54 but he’s still my baby.

You would have laughed to see me on Tuesday. I decided to do the ironing but my foot was hurting so I put the “shoe” on, but that made me lopsided and did my back no good, so I dug out a shoe with a small heel for the other foot. That evened me up but OH did laugh when he came in. On one foot I had this great big black clodhopper and on the other an elegant navy leather and patent court shoe. All this just so I could have the pleasure of doing the ironing.

I can walk around fairly well indoors in thick socks but outdoors is another matter. I put my old lace ups on and walked just down the road and back and my toes have been aching like mad ever since but I must try and walk a little more every day. My bad back is up and down and right now it’s down. How’s your knee doing now Ann?

Ever since we moved here 7 years ago I’ve been suggesting on and off to OH that we get a garden waste bin from the council but he always said he was happy taking several sackloads to the tip. Today, as though it was all his idea, he suddenly said “I don’t know why we don’t get a brown bin”. Men!!!! (not you Frank). I ordered it before he had time to change his mind.

Well, here’s hoping for a good night for all of us, particularly AnnG who must be feeling shattered.

Anng I am so pleased you got a result even if you did have to work hard for it. He;'s in the best place to get the treatment he needs and it must put your mind at rest knowing he will be looked after by the tight people now. I hope they can get to the bottom of these problems he is experiencing it must be so frightening for both of you. Sending wishes and love to you both. <3 <3

Ann they hav'nt even made any headway into the apples in the orchard yet. The birds seem to be eating more than the deer but they are liking the many acorns by the chicken run. Our big oak had so many acorns this year. I have never seen so many fall off of it. There's loads in the chicken run too.

Annx Report 12 Nov 2020 16:33

I can't believe all the rigmarole you have had to get help in an emergency AnnG, but thank goodness you have help for your OH at last. You have both had an awful few months so I hope they can properly sort out what the problem is this time. Try and get what rest you can as you must be exhausted. Edit.......I see you have posted again now and that he is back in hospital. It's where he needs to be right now and they shouldn't have let him out so soon by the sound of it.

Poor Ros Frank, I hope her tummy settles soon as it's not nice when you get these bugs. I hope your eye appointment comes through soon as it must be difficult reading with the problems you have, It would be interesting as your friends said to see what colours you would use in a painting. I wonder which of the 2 colours you can't distinguish, you actually see. Like Mel said too really. Just ignore any emails or phone calls like that. They say that they have increased with the lockdown and we have been getting both too.

Hope your foot is improving again Vera. Good job you kept that sexy shoe! Yes it is funny how we like different things and I doubt I will ever do abstract!! I looked at Caspar's painting and I see what you mean about there being a likeness. It was nice you had some facetime with your daughter and were able to see how the puppy has grown and that she is very calm. She'd be like a bull in a china shop with being big if she wasn't! I like Regatta and sometimes look at their factory outlet too for bargains. Their clothes are quite well made and I have a few fleeces and OH has a couple too. It would be a nice present to get!

I love those pencil drawings of buildings Mel and Will Roe did some lovely drawings like that. Is it the last of the apples that are attracting the deer just now? They are so pretty.

Better try again with M&S. I have asked them to reset my password 3 times now over the last 3 days but they still haven't emailed me a link yet. :-S

O H has just gone back into hospital, he hasn't been right the last couple of days and about three near falls, only avoided because I managed to get him to sit down or similar, very frightening as he shakes and his eyes glaze over. He has been in a lot of pain as well in his back and also round the site of the catheter entry, and his head. Don't know whether he will end up in Gloucester or Cheltenham but they have to take him to Glos as that is where A&E is.

We both had an awful night last night, well he did so I did, hopefully we will both have a better one tonight. He actually asked to go back in so he is quite pleased, it was quite frightening with just the two of us trying to cope with everything.

AnninGlos Report 12 Nov 2020 14:55

paramedics here now goodness knows which agency called them.

AnninGlos

AnninGlos Report 12 Nov 2020 14:29

we tried 999 and got a a run around, couldn't request paramedics, had to go to 111 which OH did, got no joy there so phoned district nurses, they chatted to him and said he needed to phone GP wi have finally got through to Gp and a doctor, not one I have heard of is going to phone sometime this afternoon.

Frank

Frank Report 12 Nov 2020 13:16

I agree with the others AnnG, ring 999 and get an Ambulance. It can't be good for your OH to be in all this pain.

I'm not sure if I am standing on y head or tail. Ros is still feeling poorly and keeps going to the toilet. I have the heating on and the small electric fire. I have been so hot, I have been sitting in the conservatory with the windows open. I can't get her to eat or drink anything, she just sits on the sofa, watching T.V.

I see that RINGO is having his front garden completely TARMACED. They have deliver the tarmac and are now spreading it. The Roller is standing by to flatten it. I think they then cover it in a dust and roller that in. Plenty of noise as you can imagine, so I am off, back into the conservatory with the door closed with my book.

I have no idea what if anything we will have for dinner tonight. I can see myself ending up with a sandwich of some sort, as I am sure Ros won't be eating.

AnnG, what a horrid time you are having. Your poor OH. I really feel for your both. If you haven't yet got through to the hospital, do as Ann says and ring for an ambulance. I did that when OH was in so much pain last year and it arrived within 45 minutes and the ambulance crew were able to give him morphine and get him to hospital.

I shall be thinking of you both till you are able to get back to us <3

Morning All,

Oh dear AnnG, hubby isn't ok at all if he's wanting to go back and in so much pain. I think I would be inclined to just ring for an ambulance.

Good morning. yes Frank we have had that mesage and do deal with Amazon but know it is a scam.

Horrid morning (weatherwise it is lovely). OH is in so much pain he has phoned the hospital and asked to be taken in, Then the phone cut out so we don't know what is happening now. Whatever they were doing is causing pain and I hate hearing him shouting out with pain. He also has strange turns which I think might be a form of panic attack when he starts to shake all over and his eyes are glazed, he is not seeing me. I really feel out of my depth and he need to go back in.

God morning Mel, and all.

Nice bright SUNNY MORNING here. Bit of a chill in the breeze.

Ringo, the neighbour across the road is having his drive done. There are lorries, diggers, and men everywhere. How long they will be here is anybody 's guess.

Ros has woke up with a "DICKY TUMMY" this morning, and she can't seem to get warm. She is sitting with a fleece over the legs, and the electric fire on. Where as I am sitting in joggers and bare chested. I have been sitting in the cool of the conservatory catching up on yesterdays paper.

Don't know if this affects anyone else BUT. We get regular phone messages saying "This is to let you know you will be debited with £39.99 for your AMAZON A/C. I have not seen any funny activity on my bank account, so don't know what they are trying to do. ANY IDEAS ?? Amazon say it's not messages from THEM.

Was sure there was something I was going to say, but it's gone. !!!

See you later. xxxx
