I am looking for more information on the family of Andrew Young and wife Mary Young. Andrew Young was born 1780 in Scotland his wife Mary (unknown maiden name but leads are Montgomery, Nailer and Swanson) was born 1805ish. They had 4 children Hugh Young b: 1827 in Scotland...... John Young b: 1831 Scotland...... Agnes Young b: 1832-1833 Scotland ......Margaret Young b: 1833-1834. Andrew and his wife Mary left Scotland around 1834-1839 for Canada. As it has been told through the family the ship they were travelling on was ship wrecked and they were lucky to save the family. The first sign of them on Canada soil was for the birth of Andrew James Young b:1839 in New Brunswick Canada...... Mary Young b: 1841 Binbrook Ontario Canada and then Jean (Jane) Young b: 1842 Binbrook Ontario Canada. Any help tracing the family back to Scotland would be great. thanks |
