Is anyone researching the Wreglesworth family of York. My 3rd gt grabdfather's 3rd wife Dinah Dearlove (d1913) was buried with William Wreglesworth and his wife Mary. William died in 1911. I also have a building contact signed by my 3rd greatgrandfather and a W Wreglesworth has witnessed it. I would like some help in finding out about William to see if the families were related or good friends to my family. Best Wishes Sean

Hi my mum is a Wreglesworth from York and I have just recently started to trace the Wreglesworths. I have just spoken mum and she had an aunt Lizzie (Elizabeth) who was married to John Dudding Wreglesworth (my mums Grandads brother) and they had three children - Austin, Nancy and Billy. She cant remember what Billys name was maybe it was William - I am going to look further into this. The other William Wreglesworth that I have found was my mums great grandad but he died in 1896. Hope this helps you look further oh John Dudding Wregleworth was born in 1872 and died in 1941 - hope this helps Regards
