heres the info on my Grandmother-Doris May Harris(nee WILLIAMS)formerly Latter +Plumb.
Doris May b,08/03/1925,Crewe,England.
Parents were;
John(aka jack)Williams.b,1890s
Lilian.b,1890s
they lived in Garden City,Sealand,N.Wales.
Doris had siblings;
Sheila
Dennis
Margaret Rose
Daisy(died as a baby)
John
Arthur
Evelyn
if there are any living relatives out there then id love to hear from you!!
or if anyone has any details on Doris' parents-jOHN+LILLIAN then that would be great because i can't find any info on them!!

Do you have Doris May's birth cert? It will give you Lilian's surname, and then etc etc etc backwards.

FreeBMD doesn't seem to have 1925 transcribed yet. You have two bits of luck: first, that I checked the untranscribed page, and second, that there were only two Doris M. Williams-s born in the first quarter of 1925. (She's a bit iffy -- might have been reg in second quarter?)

Oh, except neither of them was born in Crewe; both in Wales. No plain Doris-s either.

In the next quarter, apr-may-jun 1925, the closest thing you have is

WILLIAMS Doris
mother Pearson
district Nantwich
vol 8a
page 485

If you get the cert and the mother's name is Lilian, you have the right one, and you can look for the marriage.

You could also check for births of other children, preferably the more unusual names, if you have birthdates.

No help with finding living family members, but could get you some ancestors.
