MARIA JUNE WILLIAMS Trying to find my father's side of the family in S Wales. but with a name like Williams... His name was David Arthur Williams 1919-1969. His father's name(My Grandfather) was also David Arthur Williams born around 1880's. He married Elizabeth John,both came from Tylorstown, The Rhonnda Valley, Glamorgan and moved to London in the 1940's just after the war. My dad came to London in 1939 and subsequently served in the armed forces during WWII. My dad had two sisters, Olga and Ida. My grandmother's mother's maiden name was Roberts and she married a second time to a Jack Griffiths. My grandfather was known by the name of "Yankee Dai" as he spent some time in USA. If there are any links...please reply. Thanks |
