Find Ancestors

I am searching for Magaret Ruth Williams, who is my birth mother. I was born in Bristol on 2nd December 1942 and given up for adoption in Feb 1943. My birth mother named me Christopher Hugh Margaret Ruth Williams gave her birthplace as Carmarthen. To be of childbearing age in 1942 she could have been born any time from 1905 to 1925. She gave her occuption as shorthand typist and gave the address "St James Parade" (central Bristol) but there is no record now of any residence in this short lane. There are disused Churches at either end which might have had hostels back then. I have a congenital blood disorder - haemophilia B, factor IX deficiency, that is only passed from mother to child. This condition must exist in my birth mothers family. Any other sons she had, may be haemophiliacs and any of her daughters might themselves be carriers and may have given birth to haemophiliac boys. I regret any embarrassment that this enquiry may generate but I have tried all the subtle means of search without success. If a Margaret Ruth Williams is your mother or grandmother, or if you know of a person who fits the name, age and birthplace, even if she is now deceased, I beg you to contact me with information. I lived in Bristol until the age of 19 and then moved to New Zealand, where I still live.
