MARY ANN WILLIAMS b.1880 South Wales Trying to find out what happened to my great grandmother. She married Evan Herbert at Fardis Chapel, Pontypridd 25th Feb 1902 aged 22. Gave birth to Gwladys May Herbert in Union Workhouse Pontypridd 1st July 1902. Had second child Ivor Herbert in 1904. She ran away, leaving Evan and her children, and my grandmother Gwladys never managed to trace her. possible info: Father may have been William Williams, a collier? She was believed to have remarried to a Monmouthshire farmer and had more children? May have died in 1920's in Cardiff Royal Infirmary? Does anybody know what happened to her? |
