Trying to find Williams

I am trying to find out more about relatives of my grandfather Alfred Henry Williams born 1894 in Sheffield. He had an older brother Edward William Williams (birth name Mulcock) born in 1890 at Wallingford, Berks. Edward (Eddie) had two children, Alfred born about 1912, and Ellen born about 1914. We don't know their mother's name but during WW1 she left them with their grandparents Alfred and Ellen Williams in Royston, Yorkshire. (Sorry there are so many Alfreds and Ellens). I believe Eddie died in 1960's in Liverpool area. Ellen married someone called Tring and had 3 children, but we'd like to know more. Also My g.grandfather Alfred Williams born about 1865 somewhere in Wales (probably South Wales), he lived in Sheffield area from about 1894, at Carlton-in-Lindrick in 1901 census, probably then in Sheffield again, and in Royston near Barnsley from about 1910? to his death in 1939. Can anyone help? |
