Maria Stephenson is looking for information on T.Williams lived in Hertford Road, Enfield,London. father or adopted father of Leonard John Stephenson and husband of Margaret Tustin.... Is looking for any help with tracing my dads 1st wife or there son i think she would have been Annie Carthy they married in Newcastle during the war on August the 5th 1944 and lived at Herbert street in Newcastle, my dad was called Leonard John Stephenson and served with the Durham Light Infantry during the 2nd world war from approximatly 1942 and came out of service in about 1949, i believe they may have had a child together a boy but iam uncertain of his name or his current age this would make him my half brother,my dad leonard has sadly passed away 20 years ago and this could be the only family from my dads side that i have left .Leonard was born in scunthorpe linconshire in the year 1924 his parents names were different to his, Leonards mum was called Margaret Tustin she lived in Hertford Rd,Enfield wash, London, Leonards mum Margaret also went by the nick name of Taffy and his father is T.Williams also of the same address iam uncertain if dad was adopted as the names are different i have no explaination for this.He later married my mum Doreen Lillian Evans on 22nd september 1973 at St.james church in Enfield London then a few years past and they had me a daughter Maria Stephenson on the 23rd of April 1978 i dont have much more information other than this i would be so thankful if anyone could help with info or ideas
