I am trying to find any info on Richard Gerrans Williams b1852 in Chacewater, he was also known as 'Schiller' Williams because he was one of the few survivors of SS Schiller when it sunk off the Isles of Scilly in 1875. Richard was also a famous Cornish Wrestler. Richard married Ellen Clone in 1875 and had several children, at least 2 were born in Wales but returned to Cornwall when quite young. Charles, John Micheal, Richard Schiller, Edith Ellen, Clara (who died as a baby) and others not yet confirmed. Richard died in Mexico in 1892 he was a miner. John Michael was living in New York in 1909 and was still there in 1913. Can anyone out there help? I am interested in anything to do with the family including Richards siblings descendents etc. Lorraine
