I am looking for anyone who might be related to me as there are so few of my family left. Of Welsh stock, my parents - Cyril Leslie Williams and Muriel Rosalind Lewis - came from Abertillery and Trethomas respectively. I believe some of my distant relations emigrated to Australia and Canada/America at some time. I have/had several male cousins, all of whom I have lost touch with. My father had several brothers and sisters - Haydn, Bryn, Cliff, Gwendoline and Bronwen. Our ancestors were nearly all Williams and all seemed to come from in or around Abertillery. My mother's mother was a Parsons and she gave birth to Jack, George, Bud, and May Lewis, all of whom are now dead. Pity Williams is such a common name! |
