	Same here, can't find a birth of Ella Beecher 1877, can't find her on any census. Is Vousden a surname? Where did you get it from?

	How have you worked backwards to arrive at the name of William Beecher and approx date of birth? Keep looking at this birth Births Dec 1877 (>99%) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Beecher Helena Naomi Tunbridge 2a 613 But I think her parents are Edward and Harriett = possibly listed as Ellenor N on 1881. Typical Edward is a gardener

	Have you actually seen a copy of that marriage entry? Was just wondering how old Ella was when she married or have you estimated that as well Slightly puzzled as to why she would have been in Bombay or her father if he was a gardener?

	I presume that it is your tree on Ancestry? Where have you got the date of birth for Ella from - was it the death cert?

	Just been reading the service record of Ernest Fulcher on Ancestry. Does say the marriage was in Bombay in 1903. Sorry that should be Pensions record on Ancestry Was just going to give up as well. Nite Lindsey.

Member Since: March 2008 Posts: 20 Send Message	Also in my Aunt's letter she states that Ernest was born on 4 August and Ella 25 August, both in 1879. Her father was not in Bombay, his name was on the microfiche. Ella may have arrived in Bombay as a servant with her employers. I took her date of birth off my Aunty's letter for my family tree.That would make her apox 26 Cheers, Gavin
