Trying to find Whitaker

I am looking for a marriage of William Whitaker to Catherine Rosewell (or Hayzen) in approximately 1881 (after the census was taken in April of that year). This marriage would, I believe, have taken place in the Southwark or Lambeth areas. Catherine is listed as Catherine Hayzen, widow on the census with several children. She is named as Catherine Whitaker formerly Rosewell on the birth certificate of her daughter Rose Alice Whitaker who was born in June 1881 at Frederick Place, Mason Street, Lambeth. William's occupation is given as house painter on Rose Alice's birth certificate but have been unable to trace him in the 1881 census as I have no idea of the date or place of his birth. Any information regarding William or Catherine would be much appreciated. |
