I have traced back my grandads dad Harry Richard Wells (1889) his mother was a Fanny Elizabeth wells born around 1860 in london. I have her in the 1891 census as a domestic house maid in Brooke House, finchley. His father is unknown so Harry takes his mothers surname instead. But I cant find anything from that point about his mother. no death records nothing |

The family always said little Harry was found under a bush and had no parents (which he obviously did) he just refused to talk about it |
