Am trying to find details for a Charles Watts (place and dob n/k). He was married to Elizabeth (maiden name n/k). She was born 1814 in Kentyberry, Berkshire. They had 3 children Jonas (dob 1835); Edward (dob 1837) and Elizabeth (dob 1840). Can anyone out there help me, please? Do any of you have these people on your tree?

Dawn, Its just a chance but there is a Watts family living then in Bray Berkshire. I am also researching the Watts family as my dad was a Watts. Am happy to help if you have any more clues.

Hi Stephen.

Just found your reply. Sorry I have very little information about the family. When I say Kentyberry it could be Kintbury.

All I know about the family is as follows:

The 1881 census showed Jonas as a pauper.

Edward had 2 children: Mary Jane and Thomas Jones. No mention of any wife at 1881.

Elizabeth 1840 married someone by the name of Thomas, christian name n/k. They emigrated to America and one daughter was born out there. Their daughters were Mary dob 1865 Aberdare; Elizabeth Ann dob 1867 Aberdare; Eleanor dob 1873 USA and Ruth dob 1875 Aberdare.

At the 1881 census they were all living in Aberdare with Elizabeth dob abt 1814.

I have no idea when or where Charles Watts died nor do I have his date of birth.

This is all I have to go on. Any help would be gratefully received.
