Hi looking for information to link back to James Watt - Inventor
My g grandparents were William Watson-Watt b.1849 Brechin, Angus & wife Margaret Ann Allan Mitchell, (his brother was Patrick Watson-Watt m Mary Small Matthews)
Their parents were William Watt b.1815 & Isabella nee Watson, both buried in Brechin cemetery.

Try the Edinburgh Gereral Register Office website:- it is www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk Most of the Birth, Death and Marriage entries are on there as well as the Old Parish Registers and Census Records
