PUMPKIN HEAD Report 7 Oct 2007 13:32

Hi, My great-grandfather Walter Ward, was listed on the 1881 census as being a butler at 38 Ladbroke Road.I wondered if anybody out there knows what kind of place this might have been at that time and does the building still exist. He then went on to become a master confectioner and tobacconist in Middlesex.

Thanks Jackie. I would guess so.Says Kensington so I think it must be.It would be interesting to know if 38 still stands.Philippa
