Hi, My name is Carol. 1.My grand-father was Wiliam James Ward, born 1887. He had a brother George Ward. Their parents were 2. Richard Ward And Emily (nee Macey)When Richard married he was living at 1, Bell Buildings. Emily lived at 12, Edward Street. Richards father was 3. William Ward And Ann (nee Richards)When William got married he was living at ?Crop Street. Ann was living at Bell ?Street. William's father was 4. James Ward , a shoe maker. Ann's father was William Richards. See 3. William Ward died before 1861 as Ann was head of house on the 1861 cencus. She had Charlotte Louisa and Maria and Richard (see2) Ward. On the 1871 cencus she had married a James Witcher and had his children. Can any-one help with more info. I would particularly like to find any-one connected now to the Macey family who lived Nr. Mount Pleasant during 1960's. They may be connected. My mum was a Ward. Carol |
