Find Ancestors

Would somebody be kind enough to look at 1851 census for Henry Waller b.1815 Rudgewick Sussex. Wife Rebecca, daughters Matilda, Ellen and Emily. It is the son that I am trying to work out. Census has the name as Beard Waller but I cannot imagine anyone calling their son Beard. Cannot find him on 1861. Any suggestions please

its very bad writing cant make it out ! the transcriber has written what they think it looks like .tried the 1861 but that child isnt with the family then

Dear Julie,

Hi i have had a look around and also cannot find a BEARD waller at all.

Have a look at this though, if you type in Henry and Rebecca Waller Horsham Sussex,there is quite a lot of info about the Waller family.

Instead of Beard the person has it as Meand ? but again no further information.

Thats what i thought it might be too ,Meand !! but it didnt make any sense the same as Beard didnt, BUT it def looks like ?eand

The only other thought I had was it could be a bad spelling of Bernard? eg Bnard?
