	FREDERICK WILLIAM WALKER DIED 12.06.1944 ACCIDENTAL DEATH WHILST SERVING WITH 52ND OXFORD &BUCKS AIRBOURNE. ON 12.06.44 A JEEP AND TRAILER CARRYING ANTI TANK MINES ACCIDENTLY BLEW UP NEAR RANVILL, FRANCE, I WOULD LIKE TO HEAR FROM RELATIONS OF THE FOLLOWING MEN ALSO INVOLVED - LIEUTENANT GEOFFREY VICTOR VAN KLAVEREN (29YRS) CPL LESLIE MONS WREN (29YRS) PVTE HAROLD GEORGE YOUNG(30YRS) PVTE WILLIAM ERNEST PETER TRESIDDER(28YRS) L/CPL HERTBERT EDWARD CANTWELL(U/K) PVT ALFRED CHARLES DREW (29YRS) LIEU JOHN ANTHONY PANKHURST(20YRS) PVTE DONALD ARTHUR WILCRYX(21YRS) PVTE LESLIE HOWARD GLYNN ROBERTS (21YRS) CPL KENNETH FRANK JOHNSON (20YRS) W/O 1ST CLASS(CSM) RICHARD FLEXEN (39YRS) PVT GWILYM MORLEY (22YRS) W/O 1ST CLASS (CSM) JOHN WILLIAM CREW (29YRS) MAJOR EDWARD VERNON MOLYNEUX FLAVELL (27YRS) LIEU (QUARTERMASTER) JACK JAMES (40YRS) PVTE WILLIAM CHARLES PARSONS (22YRS). THE FIRST FOUR NAMED WERE KILLED IN THE EXPLOSION, THE REMAINDER DIED AS A RESULT OF THEIR INJURIES OVER THE FOLLOWING DAYS. FREDERICK WALKER WAS MY GREAT UNCLE & HE ALSO DIED IN THE EXPLOSION. ANY ONE WHO WOULD BE CONNECTED TO ANY OF THE MEN I HAVE LISTED ARE WELCOME TO CONTACT ME AS I WOULD BE HAPPY TO SHARE INFORMATION ON THIS TERRIBLE TRAGEDY. MANY THANKS
