I am trying to find out more about this couple and their family. They were born about 1810 in St Helens and appeared in the 1841 census for Eccleston with a son, James, b. 2 November 1838.

James married Anna Maria Bennett on 30 September 1861 and they emigrated to Galveston, Texas in 1879 with their children. I have copies of letters in my possession from the children and believe that they are related to my family, but I do not know how.

I would like information on William's parents, any other children that they had, or anything that might help. William was a coal miner in Sutton, and his name was sometimes spelled Tickell.

Can you help me fill the missing gap?
