We know of James Threlfall, born 1790, father of Samuel Threlfall, born 1810. Samuel married Elizabeth Drinkwater in 1847 and had James, born 1850; Samuel born in 1857; Ellen, also born in 1850; Margaret, d.o.b.unknown. James married Sarah Hodgkinson and produced Thomas, Margaret, Alice, John, another Samuel, Martha, Ellen, Richard & Annie. The latter Samuel married Jane Porter Fisher and they produced Edith, Betty, Dan, Annie, Samuel who died in infancy, another Samuel, Amy, May, James, Jack and Thomas. We have information on subsequent descendants, but too much to print here. Our researches have yielded an extensive family tree, which is available to anyone who cares to contact us at [email protected]. This tree is confined to Threlfalls who were farmers mainly, in the Blackpool area of Lancashire. Bernard Mellor |
