Is it possible that Rebecca's son immigrated to the States? I could not find Rowland Audrey on the Australian Electoral Register but I did find some records (City Directories) for Rowland Audrey in Massachusetts and Rhode Island in the early 1950's.

On Ancestry there is an Alfred Gilbert Herbert on the electoral rolls. Im afraid i dont have access to it, but some kind person out there may be able to look him up.

I have a huge challenge for you people out there

I am desperately trying to find out what happened to this lady.
She seems to have vanished off the face of the earth
So any help would be great.

She was born in Uffington Berkshire 1878 daughter of Albert and Rowena Wyatt.

She had a daughter also called Rowena who was looked after by her grandparents untill she went to London where she died at the age of 21.

Rebecca married in Basildon Parish Church when she was 24 25/10/1902
Henry James Audrey he was 26 and he died 25/05/1915.
They had I believe 1 son I am afraid I don't know his name.

Rebecca married again Lance Corporal Alfred Gilbert Herbert (Royal Berkshire Regiment) on 15/05/1917 he was 27.
Rebecca has lied about her age this time and has said she is 34 but she would have been 39.
They married at Reading Register Office.

According to family members after the marriage Rebecca and I presume hubby were supposed to have gone to USA but no trace of this can be found.

She has vanished off the face of the earth together with her son

Please help!!
