Trying to find contact or any information on Hardcastles from Tasmania Australia who lived there in the 1840s and 1850s

They were William Michael who married Anne Haimes in 1847. They had 3 Children Wiiliam, John and an unnamed male who died along with Ann in 1853. William M remarried in 1854 to Mary Ann Allen.

One of the Children, my Great Grandfather William Richard Augustus Hardcastle then moved to New Zealand (not sure which year but before 1873).

He then married Amelia Johnson in 1873 in Wellington and had seven children all born in Wellington the last born in 1890, they were: William, Charles, Henrietta, Ethel, Mabel, Amelia and Violet.

William R A died in 1912 and Amelia in 1896 both in Wellington.

I am not sure what happend to William Michael or his second wife Mary Ann.

I think they did one of 3 things: stayed in Australia somewhere, also moved to New Zealand, or possibly returned to England or USA as I have no idea where William, Anne or Mary Ann were born.

Would love to here from anyone with an interest
