I was wondering whether anybody could search the 1871 census for a family called the Harwards living at St Catherine's Road, Kensington Town, London?

Found a George Harward living in Stanhope Grove as a servant - he's age 23 and born Leamington.

Thanks the main names I'm looking for are:

Francis (b. 1832)
Mary (b. 1838 Ireland)
Thomas (b. 1873)

Thomas won't be on 1871 census.

When did Francis and Mary marry? Was it before or after 1871 census was taken?

Francis and Mary married on 25 April 1858 and were both living at 8 Dartmoor Street, St John Notting Hill.

Yes that is the birth, I have the certificate. They were living at 56 St Catherine's Road then.

Address search on Findmypast show a St Katherines Road in Kensington unfortunately the houses do not appear to be numbered

Not having any luck..

If anyone has findmypast could they look up who was living at 8 Dartmoor Street, Kensington? I have found the address on their search but can't look at the result! Thanks!

There is a lot of 1861 missing........many of the 'pieces' cover the London area, I believe.......

There was a thread at one time, which listed all the areas, but I'm not sure whether it could be found nowadays.

The new system for locating old info is not as efficient as the the previous one.
