I'm having real trouble trying to trace my fathers side of my tree, I am listing all the info I have and somone can point me in the right direction.
My Grandfather was Norman Thompson born in Bishop Auckland 1904, He enlisted into the West Yorkshire Corps at the age of 16, I do have alot of his service paperwork which was passed on to me, his service ended in 1951.
The other document I have is his Marriage cert.
In 1928 he was based at Palace Bks, Holywood, rank L'Corp in 1st W.Y. Reg. His Father is entered as deceased, T.W. Thompson (Mariner)
He wed Marion Graham, 20, of 16 prospect st, Belfast, Her father also deceased was Wm. Graham, Farmer.
They wed at R.P. Church,Dublin Rd, Belfast on 31/07/28.
So although it seems I have material to start with I' m drawing blanks on my search's,
Can anyone help?
