My gt gt grandfather was Edward Long was born c 1820 in Tipperary . He married a Julia (Johannah) Kiley (Cliley,Cayley, Kirby, Kily) and they had five children all born in the Tredegar area of South Wales. I have 5 birth certificates and her surname is different on each one - on each birth certificate she is 'Julia' but on her death certificate she is 'Johannah'

The children are - Richard 1848 (my gt grandfather); Margaret 1851 (died 1864); Edward 1853; John 1856 (emigrated to America) and Johannah (died 1877) - their parents died in 1867 and 1864 respectively

I have Edward (1853) on the 1871 census as a lodger at 17 Hendersons Court, Trevethin and he is a 'puddler'...after that - nothing

Would be interested in any information from anyone who may have an Edward Long in their tree
