Looking for information about Michael(about 1855) and his brother Patrick (1848. The brothers emigrated to Halliwell, Lancashire and were both living next door to each other and working as Brickmakers in 1881. Both married Irish girls, Michael married a Mary Ann and Patrick married Ann. I believe there were other siblings. Michael is my great grandfather and by 1891 had moved to Cleckheaton, Yorkshire. I have information about their children and Patrick's children but am having trouble tracing ancestry in Ireland. Both stated they were born in Athboy. Any contact would be appreciated. They each had large families. offspring. |
