Hi Diane,
On the 1881 Census she is said to be 47yrs old...Born in Wapping.
I don't have a marraige date for her at the moment as the ones that are above were for a Thomas or William as spouses.....Her spouse was James..(born abt 1824 in Rotherhithe.).
It's my fault as I put her Birth year as 1824 instead of 1834..
So Sorry if I've confused you... I am so silly sometimes...LOL.....:)

She was born abt 1834, sorry my mistake I put 24...Opps.....In Wapping.
This line of the Family is so eluisve....

Hi Everyone.
I have been kindly helped today by 2 people already on this board but am stuck again and was just wondering how I found out the Maiden name of one of my relitives.
Her married name is Rebecca Emsley ( maybe Emslie, Hammersley, Hemmersley, and so on) Born Abt 1824 in Wapping, Middlesex.
I have no idea how to start looking so could someone PLEASE point me in the right direction.
