I am tring to find information on Edward Lowman born around 1823 his wife Mary A born around 1839 their two children Sushanah and Edmund born 1867 and 1871. Sushana was born in Newfoundland,Mary in Wiltshire Edward and Edmund were both born in Middlesex.
Edward is my G.Grandfather and was posted to Newfoundland with the forces where I am told he was Superintendant of schools and Mary was involved with Nursing.I also think it unusual to only have two children in those days , Edmund went on to have eleven children including my Father who was the youngest and died when my father was 13. I would love to go back further but I am now stuck so thanks to anyone that can help.
