I have not yet looked at the census for William T waight as i have run out of credits. I know he was born in about 1864

Have you got William and/or Elizabeth on a census? You mustn't assume that the marriage we have all found is the correct one - really you need to buy the birth certificate for one of their children.

According to 1901, Williams middle initial is T, not A as on the marriage above. It may have helped if you had said initially that you knew this already.

I looked at the 1901 census for one of their daughters Ethel waight. Its says she was born in Walworth London. The registration district is stepney.

I have found a marriage of a William Arthur Waight to Elizabeth Ellen Darby in Kensington 1a 144b Mar 1883.
There seem to be a few Elizabeth births born after 1883 in the london area.
What information have you got /

where are they from?

Hi im trying to find the maiden name of Elizabeth Waight. She was born c1864 and married William waight. Their first child Also Elizabeth waight was born in 1887 so i presume they got married shortly before then. I have yet to find the marriage records and the birth record i just found doesnt seem to have the maiden name on it?!
They were from the east end of london.
