Hi Brenda, with reference to the information given by Reggie about death details of Amy Jane, Toxteth Park. I did contact the department you gave me and they said they would get back to me in 48 hours, they did that, well Toxteth Park Cem did to tell me that they didn't have records on the date I was looking for so I needed to go to the Liverpool Record Office Direct. I then left it for a while as I am unable to get there with my two young children but on contacting the records office by email they said they could look it up for me without me having to go! They sent an email on the 17Th October saying I'm in a queue so I'm waiting on this information. Thanks again for helping me, I'll let you know. |

Thanks Siobhan and Joan, I never had any of this census information before! I bet you can't believe that I've been searching for this information for years, trouble with me is that I disregard a lot of information because I am unsure that the information I find is correct due to the differences in name spellings and date of births ect, it takes fab people like yourselves to unravel it!! I really am still a novis You are both fantastic, If you get any further information please let me know, I'll will print these off and show my grandad Benjamin. x |

Here's a possibility for Ellen Robinson (assuming the mother died in 1900). |

I'm afraid my family history stops at William Robinson's father also William Robinson a Labourer on his wedding cert in1886, but do not know his mothers name or siblings sorry. Is there anymore information you would like? |

Yes! he did sail between those dates, I've been unable to locate him on any ship, have him down as a ships steward on his wedding cert in 1886 and onwards on his childrens birth certificates, he is said to have died at sea around 1900 to 1906 give or take both ways. |

Thanks for that! I'll give Ellis Island a try, I have tried Ancestry and Ships List but unable to find him (may be doing something wrong) He sailed from Liverpool/Birkenhead to america but unfortunatly don't know the ships name! |

Have you searched the passenger lists on Ancestry or Ellis Island, if it's America you are interested in. Also Ships Lists has passenger lists for Australia and USA. |

Please could anybody direct me to a good researcher I could pay to search the passenger lists in Kew? I'm at such a dead end and with a seven month old and toddler in tow it's impossible for me to travel such a distance. |
