Member Since: March 2006 Posts: 0 Send Message	Samuel Bullock was my great grandfather and after several weeks of trying to get some more information i'm getting more and more lost. Does anyone have Samuel Bullock born around 1870's (my guess) who was married to Gertrude Clarke. They had a daughter called Rose who was my nan. Family stories say that Gertrude remarried when Samuel was declared dead during the war then he reappeared but went back to Belgium to his girl friend! If anyone has any information I would be mightily happy, thanks in advance Ruth

	From the marriage reference above, I looked for Samuel Charles Bullock born somewhere in Uk, on unknown date. Obviously the first is probably way out in left field, and so are the last 3 BUT there is one who was born in Coventry, at about the right time, 1888 Births Dec 1863 (>99%) BULLOCK Samuel Charles Clifton 6a 121 Births Dec 1884 (>99%) Bullock Samuel Charles Prestwich 8d 324 Births Mar 1888 (>99%) BULLOCK Samuel Charles Coventry 6d 504 Births Sep 1893 (>99%) Bullock Samuel Charles W Newcastle T. 10b 80 Births Dec 1898 (>99%) Bullock Samuel Charles Mitford 4b 253 Births Jun 1899 (>99%) Bullock Samuel Charles Bristol 6a 149 sylvia

I'am researching Timothy Bullock B ca 1799 Kilsby NTH Eng died 1881 Barmborough Yorkshire, married by banns 1818 NTH to Maria Rathbone. Their known children are: Samuel b1821 Kilsby NTH Died 1898 Botany Aust. Amelia b 1823 Kilsby NTH. no further info. Charles b1833 Kilsby NTH. Jerimah b 1835 Kilsby NTH died 1889 Aust. Charles moved to Barnburgh ( various spellings) Yorkshire & married ca1852 to Mary Brown having ten children. Samuel married Jane Bray they two children in Eng befor coming to Aust ca1854 they had further seven children. Brother Jerimah looks like he came with his brother & family to Aust, Married 1858 Sydney to Delilah Thorpe bca1833 d1912. They first moved to gold filds of Adelong, two children was born befor returning to live in Botany area having seven more chidren. In 1889 he was badly hurt in horse & dray accient & passed away on the way to hospital. My wife Marion is GGG daughter of Jerimah. Bill

Member Since: September 2005 Posts: 5 Send Message	not sure if anyone can help but I`m trying to find the son of sam bullock sam was my fathers cousin, sam was the curator of robert burns`s grave in scotland yes the poet, sam was born in ayrshire he had two children, his son was called william,all Ican remember, is he was a bank manager he was born around 1950 ish he also had a sister whos name excapes me as all my relatives have since died, I`ve no one to ask, my fathers name was james craig Harper, he died in 1977, I know uncle sammy died after my farther, i know this is pritty scetchy but i needed to give it a try, I would be eternally gratefull for any help thanks all.

Member Since: September 2005 Posts: 5 Send Message	i must first apologise for taking so long to get back to everyone who sent me advise on samuel bullock, as could,nt find my messages but thanks to cynthia I,m back sorry all but my samuel i think was slightly younger than my father, james criagie harper was born 1916, in ayrshire and as far as i know uncle sammy, was born and died in ayrshire sammies son was william and daughter was jannette they were both older than myself i was born 1953 many thanks to all for your help Yvonne ,
