Edward Lindsay Carmichael born 21/12/1920 around Lake Boga area of Victoria Australia - he died in 1982. He was my Dad's step-father (my Pop) He was known as Lindsay - never as Edward. He married my Grandmother Wilma Isobel nee Byrnes (McAlpine) Wilma was known as Judy - never as Wilma. Confused? Me too hehe - not really. They settled in Beverford, Swan Hill, Woorinen Victoria area. Wilma and Edward had two children Peta-Lyn and Janet toadd to Wilma's three existing children to first marriage Robyn, John and Malcolm.Now I know your confused. We never had anything to do with the Carmichaels and it is proving very hard to find his family. Originally they came from around Mauchline Scotland I think. Hope someone out there knows this family. |
