My grandfather Albert James Harmon born around 1894 in Southampton, his family were publicans (Ship Inn by the central station? or The George?). He had one sister Hilda who never married. He married Marion Montgomery Barr, a nurse from Rotherglen, Glasgow, Scotland and they had four children, Edna, Alma, Albert and Marion (my mother). He used to be in the Merchant Navy and later a Storeman in Southampton. Their last known residence was 515 Portswood Road, Southampton but they also lived in Honeysuckle Road.
