I dont suppose you've come accross any WARD PERTs have you? I have 2 according to a marriage certificate- Catherine born C1822 Westminster and her father Henry, I cant find them on a census either

I put James born Norfolk 1789 +/- 2 and living in Bury St Edmonds Suffolk

I put in 'Ann' living in Suffolk, born 1840.....nothing else...then I just scrolled through to the 'P's'

They have been Pirt, Pirts,Port, Pert and Purt through the census's

Sorry I want a look up on 1841 census. I have found them on 1851 census sorry

Please clarify which census you need checking.........you ask for 1841...then refer to 1841 info near the end of your request.......

Im having a bit of trouble finding the Pirt family in 1841 census. Im looking for James P.irt born about 1789 in Norfolk. His wife Sarah born in Norfolk about 1798, children William born about 1822 in Bury St Edmunds Suffolk. John born about 1834 also BUry st Edmunds, and Ann born about 1840 in Bury st Edmunds. In the 1851 census they were living in Bury St Edmunds. Hope someone can help me, solve this mystery.
