Find Ancestors

I am trying to find any one who know any thing about my grand mother Jane red head Ord born 23/8/1898 ,later married to a Willliam Bell who died ?aug 1946 he had two brothers i think one was called Thomas, william was from Baydon lived in ?Garden street and worked as a chief engineer room artiicifer in the royal navy.
I believe Jane and her brother Sidney were both adopted by a great aunt and their mother may have been called Charlton, had red hair, and lived in southsheilds
SIdneys was a miner had two children Irene and Vera both dead i believe one lived in southern ireland
my grand mother left every thing to a neighbour and so we have no family infomation and my mum only met her dad twice ,he may have had another partner later called lilly who had twins but this could all be a fairy tail. can any one add to this famliy history
